Selectum Family Resort Side

A very nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Everything was clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurants was good, with plenty of variety. The only thing we missed was regular hard cheese at breakfast. All the pools and the water park were great, and the hotel's private beach was also of a very high standard. I would especially like to thank Efe from Guest Relations for his fantastic hospitality!

Everything was fantastic, from the delicious food and excellent variety of dishes to the friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was lovely, with plenty of options for both adults and children, making it the perfect place for a family holiday. The service was excellent, and everyone made us feel welcome and well looked after. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Selectum Family Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday with their family. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so special! We would definitely love to come back! ❤️🌟

Never again! Although the hotel’s website claims that they care about cats, there are no water bowls or feeding stations anywhere. Everything is left entirely up to the guests! Is it really that difficult to put out a few bowls of water? The hotel is full of pregnant cats and helpless kittens\. It’s heartbreaking to see them in such a state, and I dread to think what will happen to them in winter if the hotel can’t even provide water during the summer heat\. The hotel itself is dirty\. The staircases above the first floor are filthy, and the toilets are disgusting\. The rooms don’t even have basic toiletries that you would normally expect to find in a hotel\. To make matters worse, they charge €1 per bag just to weigh your luggage\. I’ve never come across anything like this before\! If this hotel wants to attract European guests, it seriously needs to change its attitude, especially towards animal welfare\. If I ever see travel agents recommending this hotel, I will make sure to leave a comment warning others about the poor conditions and the way animals are treated here\. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Booked 7 nights here in mid Oct and after 4 nights could not stand it anymore and just left. It looks impressive on the website and has lost of positive reviews, but that was not my experience. We booked the family swim up villa / lake house. Within 15 mins of arriving, we had 2 staff members who barely did anything standing in our room expecting a tip. From there things went down hill. The room alternated between smelling dank to smelling like cigarette smoke. The bed was rock hard and there was mould in the bathroom. General maintenance of the room and hotel was lacking. At night you could easily hear people in the next room. Whilst that was not good, the worst was to come with the standard of the food and drinks! The main dining area was packed and trying to get a seat challenging. There were queues for hot food and the cold food did not look very appealing. Eventually you could get a glass of wine (only 1 of the 3 glasses of red wine tasted like it hadn't been in an open bottle for 3 days - I gave up requesting any more red and just stuck with white wine - generally delivered in plastic cup with ice). Also, the number of stray cats just walking around the inside dining area was also pretty disturbing. Breakfast and lunch was even worse. After 4 days, this was the first holiday where I definitely had lost weight. The pools were cold and the beach area had a lot of broken glass. On a positive, the water slides were ok - when they were running. Upon leaving early, I booked into a far, far, FAR nicer hotel in Antalya which did not cost must more per night, so recommend you look around. I think Selectum and Kremlin Palace are part of the same chain / ownership (only discovered when they reached out to ask why I had left after just 4 nights), so maybe if you get a really good deal coming from a non English speaking country, then Selectum could be an option, but if native English speaking and expecting a 5 star resort, then really question the 5 star reviews.

It’s a shame, because the holiday started off really well. Unfortunately, severe vomiting, diarrhoea and a fever completely ruined my stay. My daughter also became ill after we returned home. Instead of remembering this holiday with a smile, I’m left with unpleasant memories and disappointment.
