SY Hotels Belek Boutique Luxury

We had a lovely 10 night stay at SY hotels, food was great and a nice selection as well as the cakes which were on offer and the lunch bar during the day. Hotel is located right next to land of legend which is only a short walk. Staff were great very friendly, the entertainment was good each evening considering when we came the hotel was on the quieter side during out of season we still were able to enjoy our stay. We didn’t realise the al carte restaurant would be closed but we hope to return not out of season so we can enjoy the full use of the hotel and thank you to Arya for looking after us during our stay too.

Breach of confidentiality Hotel failed to safeguard us as a family travelling with four children, they allowed a man who presented as a travel rep into the hotel to sell us to sell excursions. They allowed this man to ring us via the telephone in the hotel so we believed he was legit. He sold us a package which was absolutely awful and then was left stranded in the middle of nowhere. The hotel claims this was ‘ on the beach’s’ Travel agent but when contacting on the beach they do not use travel reps abroad. Appears to be a scam avoid hotel at all costs.

Just back from a week staying here with my daughter. Hotel was beautiful, from the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, hotel reception reminded me of fancy hotels i have stayed in Dubai. We had a pool view room which was lovely and modern and a good size. The waterpark was brilliant , my daughter had so much fun on the slides (and me too) the lifeguards were brilliant with her and knew her name by day one, they would keep her entertained....they are a real asset to the hotel. Food was lovely, so much choice especially at lunch time with the food court by the pool. Lovely cocktails and would make ones that weren't on the menu. Beach was nice, proper loungers, wifi and a bar/cafe with ice creams/ice lollies. The location is right across from lands of legends, we could walk across to go to the theme park/waterpark and to see the evening show. My only negative would be the lack of entertainment in the daytime, I never saw any of the entertainment team during the day during our week there, would have been nice if they got some kids together for games. Went to the kids club a few times but no staff there, maybe as its not summer? Overall an amazing week and didnt want to leave! Would def recommend and stay again 😀

Just not at the 5 star yet. I will start with the good. Beautiful clean hotel with good food and nice relaxed ambiance. Bad includes the language barrier its catered more to the eastern europeans. Pity really as the hotel would be a real value to english speaking Irish visitng Belek in Türkie they all presumed we were polish speaking in our native Gaelige language. Second our room wansnt cleaned and stocks not replenished when I complained it would be cleaned the following day then the next was the same uncleaned. The bar staff and the lifegaurds are a credit to this hotel very lively and able to communicate in a friendly helpfull manner give them a payraise keep the girl on the rollerskates loveky touch. I cant say the same for the bar staff in the bar upstairs very hostile and unfriendly unhelpfull. Entertainment is not suitable for young children more for teens and older. You could vary this having a circus night or something like swimmers in the pool doing a show. I cant fault the food and drinks both 10/10 as all inclusive espically the waffles and the food court overall bravo food is 1010, restruant failled to give us drinks where I had to get myself most nights staff are all walking around asleep this needs to change. Just the overall attitude and helpfullness of the staff needs to improve. The manager of the hotel is plesant and speaks very good english, he is very helpfull I had issues with the manners of the reception staff Sabar Timur and Erdem. I think the hotel needs to adapt the managers manner throught it will be a success once applied. We knew travelling that this would be a new space with room to improve mainly I found the housekeeping a failure however we had a nice stay overall. Would I reccomend this hotel to Irish travellers no not at the moment the english must improve and attitude of the staff. The aydenbey would be a better option for now until the hotel gets its reins and staff in order. It will be a lovely stay once this is applied I wish you all the best.

Hotel is aesthetically top notch; everywhere is finished to a modern standard and its absolutely spotless. The staff work constantly to keep everywhere clean and tidy and they do a great job. Staff are all friendly and happy to help, ive seen some reviews criticising the staffs English however they’re all friendly and the fact they havnt told me their life story or asked for mine when handing me a daiquiri has not negatively impacted my holiday one bit. The kids pool is great and not too deep. There’s also a small splash zone for toddlers with some cute little fountains etc and then a bigger water park area with slides for kids and adults which is fun. Their are plenty of sunbeds everywhere so you wont find it difficult to get one, although if you’d prefer one of the “bali beds” near the pool with the swim up bar then you’ll need to get up a bit earlier (they are so comfortable by the way). Theirs a kids club which is a bit smaller and probably need a bit more structure with activities etc but then this isnt a TUI or bigger family chain so its always going to be ran differently. The ladies who ran it were friendly and happy to welcome my 5 and 9 year old every time they went. The evening entertainment is a bit lacking in general however the Rhianna show we saw was great and fun, I think because the hotel is brand new theyre just finding their feet with the entertainment and how to structure it all with the mini disco etc. Food was great! Yes the buffet options arnt alwyas that varied but everything we ate was really tasty and the outdoor foodcourt was a good add, and our kids made the most of the daily fresh waffles and nutella there. Also the fresh burgers served here daily are yum! Rooms are really tastefully decorated with comfy beds and a powerful shower. We paid the extra for a family room with 2 adjoining rooms and had plenty of space. Balcony view was just of some dusty road and construction but we were hardly in the room so didnt impact us. Havnt yet been to the beach but theres a hourly free shuttle so will give that a try tomorrow. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families who want a chilled holiday with a few bits to do for the kids. Get it booked whilst the prices are a little lower as I imagine they’ll really go up from next year ☺️ *Also hotel is opposite land of legends (5 minute walk) so if you fancy a change of scenery then this is an option as you can visit the shops there and the light show for free.
