I’m not entirely sure where to begin with this review, as I think perhaps our expectations were set a little too high from the start. This was our first time visiting Turkey and only our second experience at an all-inclusive resort. We chose TUI Magic Life Rixos Beldibi for a few key reasons - the location, the adults-only concept, and the promise of a 5-star experience, especially after having such a lovely stay at a similar resort in another country. Starting with the resort itself, it was clean and generally well-maintained. However, it was also extremely quiet, and during the week, there was very little going on. The entertainment programme felt repetitive and underwhelming - yoga in the morning, followed by archery, aqua aerobics, and mountain biking tours. One important thing to note is that activities like archery and mountain biking only had something around four spaces each time, so they filled up very quickly. If you weren’t quick enough to book, you simply couldn’t take part, which made the already limited entertainment feel even more restricted. Evenings offered limited options, usually a small show or karaoke around 9 pm, followed by a nightclub that didn’t seem to draw much of a crowd. The atmosphere overall lacked energy. The staff were not rude, but they also weren’t particularly warm or engaging, which made the experience feel somewhat impersonal. Food was one of the biggest disappointments. There is one main buffet restaurant operating throughout the day, but the selection was quite limited and very plain. Each day there was typically one soup option, a few meat dishes, and some basic sides. By the end of the week, we found ourselves eating mostly fish and rice simply because there wasn’t much else that appealed. There is another restaurant on-site that operates once a week, but the menu didn’t stand out enough for us to try it. The lobby bar and coffee house was one space rather than two distinct spaces, and the outdoor bar lacked any real atmosphere. Service was inconsistent throughout our stay. We noticed staff arguing on multiple evenings, which wasn’t a great look. Some nights, tables would be prepared properly; other nights not. Occasionally, drinks were brought to our table, but more often we had to go and ask ourselves. Only one drink per meal. At times, it genuinely felt like the staff were avoiding taking drink orders altogether, even though we were only ordering soft drinks. The rooms were another letdown. While they were cleaned daily, they were very small and came with several issues. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, so we often had to leave the balcony door open just to get some air. Basic amenities were not consistently restocked - we went two days without toilet paper, and items like shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were not replenished either. When we approached reception to request restocking, it felt like we were inconveniencing them rather than asking for something standard. The outdoor pool was also a disappointment, as it was barely heated to around 28 degrees, which made it feel quite cool rather than comfortable, especially given the expectation of a relaxing resort experience. Lastly, something that really stood out to us- and not in a good way- was how the resort handled the local cats. Many guests clearly loved them and they seemed to be regulars around the property, but it was quite heartbreaking to see that the resort didn’t appear to care for them at all. This seems to be a common concern raised by guests, and it’s easy to see why. There was no designated area, no shelter, and no visible access to fresh food or water. Simple steps like providing a small hut, regular feeding, fresh water, and sterilisation would not only improve the cats’ wellbeing but could actually enhance the guest experience - other resorts have done this successfully, and guests are often happy to contribute or tip. Unfortunately, here it felt like the opposite, and we were glared upon for trying to feed the cats from our leftovers. Overall, while the resort looks the part on the surface, the experience didn’t live up to the 5-star expectation we had going in. With improvements in food variety, service consistency, guest activities, and overall atmosphere - as well as a more compassionate approach to the animals on-site - it could be a much better stay. Unfortunately, this trip fell short for us.
An Exceptional level of Customer Service where the Entire TUI Team Excelled. There was one Outstanding Expert within the Team, a Young Lady called Sana, she demonstrated a level of Exceptional Interpersonal Skills beyond her years. Her attentiveness, genuine caring and considerate approach was without doubt the best customer experience my wife and I have ever received. This Young Lady creates the most Professional Warm and Welcoming approach to identifying Customer Concerns then resolving them effortlessly. Her relentless approach to achieving Total Customer Satisfaction is without doubt Deserving of Recomendation. She is an asset to the TUI / Rixos Team.
It was a great resort enjoyed well. The service was amazing. I would like to give a special thank to Mehmet the bell boy who was extremely helpful and a very special thank to Merve from guest relation who went out of her for assistance. The facilities were great at the hotel. However, the food can be much better since this is a 5* hotel, starting with buffet dinner which never included steak or seafood. I had dinner at Levante and the food need to be better quality than what was offered.
Situated by the sea with all amenities close together yet feeling spacious. Dining, inside and out very comfortable with lots of choice. Plenty of sunbeds by the pools, grassed and beach areas. The staff throughout make the stay relaxed and you can join in the activities or just take it easy. The entertainment was good and in some cases exceptional. The rooms are well equipped and ours had a mountain view which had the sun on it in the afternoon. We had a problem which was nothing to do with the hotel but customer services were more than happy to help. It would have been extremely difficult to resolve our problem without them. Overall we had a relaxing two weeks that exceeded expectations.
Very disappointed. Yes it was early in the season but surely it should have been ready. Digger on the beach every day, I presume making the beach less pebbly. Air conditioning in the room did not work. If you have a sea view room there's no sun in the afternoon and if you have a mountain view you have sun in the afternoon but road noise. Food often only luke warm and not particularly inviting or tasty compared to many other all inclusive resorts we've stayed at. Staff friendly enough. Table service not great. Even struggled to have a good hot coffee. Evening entertainment was dancing or dancing. Live band one night were very good and there was a Turkish night but mostly it was the entertainment team. Only one area to sit. If you want somewhere quiet, go to your room. Coffee house is a fridge of cakes to the side of the bar and not a separate area. If you are a lycra wearing, tennis playing dancer then maybe it'd suit you, but not for us.
