Just spent a few days at Protels La Plage and honestly didn't want to leave. The location right by the water is gorgeous and has such a relaxed, easygoing vibe. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The manager was so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful from the moment we checked in—always around making sure we had everything we needed and offering great tips for getting around. They even arranged a beautiful, romantic dinner for us by the beach, which was easily one of the highlights of our trip. It’s rare to find a place where the team puts that much thoughtful, personal care into making your stay special. If you're heading to Zanzibar, I can't recommend this spot enough!

I had an amazing stay at Protea Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, the food was delicious, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the reception team and the chef for making my stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. I can’t wait to visit again!

It was great, Elizabeth served us right and the bar man was amazing, very hospitable and friendly people , the manager needs a pay raise for the amazing job. Everything was perfect, not crowded and that’s the best way to reset. It’s 10/10. Coming back !!!

I had an amazing stay at Protels La Plage Resort in Zanzibar! The resort is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and the perfect location right by the beach. What truly made my experience unforgettable was the incredible staff,everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A special thank you to Josephine, my waitress, whose exceptional service, kindness, and warm smile made every meal a pleasure…she truly deserves a raise! I also want to thank the manager, Shady who went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and memorable stay I highly recommend Protels La Plage Resort to anyone visiting Zanzibar.
