Spice Tree by Turaco

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city close to the water. Rooms are nice and clean. Great AC. Reception is helpful. Breakfast buffet is average. Would stay here again.

Had breakfast lunch and dinner here. All on the deck. The ceviche and sashimi dish was amazing. staff were excellent. highly recommend.

I went to have cocktails and dinner with my family at the Turaco Rooftop tonight. It was a wonderful experience. We watched an amazing sunset while enjoying some really delicious and tasty drinks. The dinner was delicious too! The customer service was excellent. Said, Kalista and Juma served us and were incredibly polite, attentive and friendly throughout the evening. We will definitely come back again! ❤️

I’ve very much enjoyed my stay at the Turaco Spice Tree Hotel in Stone Town. The people working at this hotel were exceptionally helpful and friendly . I really enjoyed having laughs with the friendly Karlista in the restaurant!

The hotel overall is OK. Nice view. Food is not good. People working here are very nice but not trained. The things that annoyed me the most is that they start the cleaning at 7am and they make a lot of noise. Not possible to sleep in the morning.
