Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort

I recently spent several days at the Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay and found it to be an exceptional property that more than justifies its excellent reputation. Location and Access The hotel sits slightly outside Kotor proper, but this is a minor consideration. Regular bus service connects the property to the town, and taxis are remarkably affordable. The trade-off—a bit of distance for a more spacious, resort-oriented setting—works well. The Rooms The accommodations are outstanding. Each room is impeccably maintained, thoughtfully appointed, and immaculately clean. The housekeeping staff deserves particular praise for their meticulous standards. Dining and In-Room Amenities The breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings are genuinely excellent. The kitchen demonstrates both range and quality, with an impressive selection of seafood and fresh fish preparations—a significant draw for those of us who prioritize such options. Beyond the dining room, the in-room experience is thoughtfully curated: a kettle, a solid selection of teas, and—importantly—a daily-replenished espresso machine with fresh capsules. These small details matter. Service The staff throughout the property exemplifies professionalism paired with genuine warmth. Everyone is unfailingly courteous and, notably, consistently cheerful. Questions are answered promptly and thoroughly at any hour. Minor Observation The mattresses lean toward the softer end of the spectrum. This proved entirely satisfactory for my fellow seminar participants, though those preferring firmer support may notice it. It’s a matter of personal preference rather than any shortcoming. Final Verdict I recommend the Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay without reservation. It is a well-run property that attends to detail across every dimension of the guest experience.

Really lovely hotel, location was amazing. Staff were incredible. Pool was really nice. Centred in between kotor and tivat which made it very accessible to travel.

The hotel is very lovely and modern. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size and very clean and modern. Buffet breakfast was tasty and the ole beach bar had a nice selection of food. Pool and spa setup also really nice. The massages are on the pricey side but you kind of expect that. The only thing that may annoy some people is the location of the hotel. It is about 15 minutes drive away from the old town, so nice and peaceful but if you plan to go out siteseeing it means you require taxis every time you venture out

Sitting on the wrap around balcony from our luxuriously comfortable suite enjoying a great cup of coffee and watching a cruise ship sail by with the mountains in the background, all I could think was just how lucky we were to be staying at the Hyatt Kotor Bay. Gorgeous location, gorgeous room, wonderfully attentive staff, an absolutely delicious breakfast in a gorgeous setting - simply gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Just wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the spa. I hear that is gorgeous as well.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort. From the moment we checked in, Mrs. Krishna and Mr. Berkan welcomed us with such genuine warmth and sincerity. Their kind gesture of upgrading our room, combined with their vibrant energy and constant smiles throughout our stay, made our experience far exceed our expectations. The room was flawless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety. We felt truly cared for every single day.
