Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort

The hotel is beautiful, but doesn't really have the kind of sea view the drone imagery shows. The rooms are basic, overpriced and the service is extremely slow. The reception had Angelica and Pratik who were a delight to meet, an informed Concierge who went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. The service for anything you ask for in your room takes forever though, and there's a man at the front desk who is extremely curt and quite a downer. I would not return to this hotel as for the price we paid, we'd get a much better hotel, service and room with a beautiful view.

lovely hotel in a fantastic location, with nice staff and a great buffet breakfast. rooms are as described and the hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean. The evening buffet dinner is poor and disappointing, I would suggest eating out rather than pre-booking this meal as the choice is limited and what should be hot food is generally cold. Nice tavernas nearby and a bus to and from Kotor and Port Montenegro is good but unreliable, don't let this put you off as the taxis can prove to be expensive. Pools and beach area are great, and the "Ole Bar restaurant" on the beach is very nice with great service. The bay is lovely to swim in and is sectioned off to make it a safe area with live guards on hand throughout the day, you can hire kayak's and paddle boards. take some beach shoes as it is a grit beach and into the water that has some rocks at the edges. The Kotor bay area is fairly quiet, so ff you want a mor lively atmosphere go into Kotor town or Port Montenegro. Overall, I would recommend this location and hotel for a fabulous holiday experience.

Made our anniversary even more special. Views were insane. Staff were super polite. Will recommend this to anybody who would come to Montenegro

4 stars from us, as the hotel falls just short in a couple of areas that would make it a 5-star experience. The staff, room, and facilities were all excellent. However, during our week-long stay, we had to request room servicing twice after being missed. We only needed the water and coffee replenished, but the room was then fully serviced. It would also be great to have the option of ordering food directly by the pool from the pool bar. The dining area around the upper pool was often very crowded, with limited table availability as many guests were using the space for lounging rather than eating. Breakfast could be quite chaotic at times. Guests are required to enter the restaurant, provide their room number, and then find their own table. While there were often empty tables available, many had not yet been cleared or cleaned, leaving greasy surfaces for the next guests. The cost of taxis from the hotel to the Old Town varied significantly, ranging from €15 to €30 each way. There is also a shop located next to the hotel, and many guests appeared to purchase their own soft drinks, alcohol, and snacks there rather than using the hotel’s facilities due to the noticeable price difference. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the staff and facilities to be very good, but improvements in these areas would enhance the overall guest experience.

Very nice experience with a nice and clean suite. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast were really crowded.
