Palmon Bay

A nice hotel with private beach and pool by the beach. Plenty of sunbeds, fresh towels every visit. The sea itself was sandy and watter pretty clear if you ignore the “oily” top layer from the boats. Great views while swimming. There was some smell by the pool next to the toilets, but it was bearable, nothing too bad. Breakfast was nice with plenty of variance. Fruits were very tasty and delicious. Coffee was bad. The spa was a great add-on inside the hotel for a swim in mineral water - very pleasing and not too busy. There is also a pool on the second floor of the hotel building. We took the double standard room, but it was on ground floor. No views but easy to access beach and spa. Air conditioning was easy to use and wasn’t noisy at all. The room was serviced every day.

We stayed at the hotel Palmon bay, Igloo Montenegro from 18July to 28 July 2025 on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis. The hotel is lovely with a very well-maintained central garden area. As we were on a dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal our meals were taken in the main dining room and there was always a good selection of well cooked, fresh food available. There is an excellent roof top bar which serves food throughout the day from which you have a fantastic of the bay. The hotel has three pools, one inside, a shallow one (very quiet) set on a first-floor area on the property, and a large next the beach area. There was always enough sun loungers and towels are available at each pool. The rooms were nice, well maintained and had toiletries and air-conditioning. However, the best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were all lovely and went out of their way to be helpful and have a chat. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, and will return ourselves when we can.

We stayed 7 nights at Hotel Palmon Bay, and from the first to the last day, everything was perfect. The staff in every part of the hotel is extremely kind and professional. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and excellent soundproofing. Breakfast is a classic hotel style but very tasty, and the spa center with a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and massages is the perfect place to relax with wonderful therapists (massages are charged separately, while the other facilities are free for hotel guests). The hotel has its own private beach right in front, which is beautiful, with sand and crystal-clear sea, plus a pool for extra enjoyment that comes with its own beach bar offering fair prices. Every guest has sun loungers and beach towels provided daily. The hotel also has private parking, so you don’t have to worry about your car during your stay. Right on the promenade next to the hotel, you’ll find a fantastic seafood restaurant as well as a pizzeria, so everything you might need is right there. Overall impression: 10/10 – we will definitely be coming back to Palmon Bay!

We travelled to the Palmon Bay Hotel and Spa for 5 nights (2 adults and 2 children) after we got married at a private venue in Sutomore. Our initial reaction to the hotel was, wow! The hotel lobby area is smart, clean and there is a porter waiting to help you with luggage etc on your arrival. We were taken to our room which was clean and as we had expected based on the pictures upon booking. The location on the hotel is very good as it is close to the beach, local restaurants and shops etc. We used the Palmon Bach club pool which again was very well run and sunbeds and towels were provided. We did notice at times people reserving sunbeds but not using them for sometimes 2-3 hours at a time which was frustrating especially when we wanted beds together. The bar at the Palmon Beach Club provided drinks and food but it is expensive. When ordering drinks and food for 2 adults and 2 children you soon rack up a bill! They do not allow you to bring food and or drink into the beach club as they want you to eat and drink at the hotel bar. If you think about it though, there are ways around this. The hotel spa is very good offering an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and spa treatments. Complimentary tea and water was also available and towels provided upon arrival. The terrace on floor 5 offers great views and entertainment in the evening. There is also a restaurant there but we did not dine there. *TOP TIP* There are lots of restaurants along the beach front that offer great value for money meals. As a family of 4 we were able to eat out for approximately €50-65 total cost, that's drinks and food, very reasonable. Overall a great stay that we enjoyed. It is our first time visiting Herceg Novi but we will come back. Thank you.

What a stunning hotel and location. Everything was perfect during our first visit to Montenegro. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel facilities are outstanding un stunning grounds that are well maintained. The different pool areas are superb with fresh towels available. The private beach is lovely, although I do prefer sand to tiny pebbles. The spa is worth a visit and is at no extra cost to residents, although treatments are extra. We were B&B, but we ate on the Olive Terrace for three nights and had lunch at the poolside bar. Many comments on here advise not to bother with other meals apart from the buffet breakfast. We'd disagree. All of our meals were delicious, large portions and good value for money. We didn't eat in the buffet restaurant for an evening meal, but everything else was yummy. We'd 100% return to Montenegro as it's a beautiful country, and we'd return to Palmon Bay Hotel.
