Valamar Tirana Hotel

Stay at the hotel was amazing, special thanks to all the staff at Oliva Grill. We ate there every single day and always the staff were extremely professional, friendly, understanding and helped us with anything we needed, Damjan was extremely helpful with his recommendations and always with a smile, Tonci, Josip and Mario were also all exceptional with their service. Food was always pristine and perfectly seasoned, also extra points for atmosphere at the restaurant.

My husband and I have had the most wonderful time here in Croatia We stayed at the Valamar Tirena hotel The staff are all really helpful, friendly & were considerate to our needs Our room was cleaned every day in my opinion to a high standard Food also so tasty & delicious again to a high standard So much variety to choose from The whole atmosphere around the hotel was pleasant calm & tranquil Please note the hotel caters beautifully for families with children & babies Hense the reason why my husband & I travelled here when the kids are back in school Overall around the pool & beach area we had a wonderful time I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family A massive thanks to Sara the Concierge who not only helped, guided & helped us plan our excursions We found Sara incredibly informative which helped us to plan our week We made all the right choices with the aid of Sara knowledge She really is an assert

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel but the location makes it a bit isolated. This is very much a resort hotel as it is a spacious property with a really nice outside bar area, very large pool area (including a special pool area for kids) and huge breakfast buffet. The rooms were large and well appointed. All the staff were very nice. The only drawback to this property is that it is located a distance from the old town so restaurant choices are very limited. We used Uber to get the old town as there are driving restrictions surrounding the old town.

Lovely hotel, very modern, food is buffet style for breakfast and dinner, plenty of choice and always plenty available no matter what time. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Only fault would be the quality of the towels in the bathroom. Pool towels seem to be better quality than the room. Lovely pool area, plenty of sun loungers and no problem to get one every day. Bonus being able to use the facilities of the sister hotel lacroma which had indoor pool and gym. Good location if you are not looking for a busy resort. A couple of bars/restaurants within a short walk of the hotel but if you want nightlife this isn't the place for you without travelling. Good bus service into dubrovnik, runs until after midnight which is great. Lovely weeks holiday, would return and recommend without hesitation
