Valamar Tirana Hotel

We had lunch at Oliva restaurant, part of Tirena Hotel. Our waiter was Josip, wonderful service and great food. Our son would give a million stars, We will be back

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with several quiet and safe swimming spots just a short walk away. The beautiful shady gardens were a lovely place to relax, and although the pool area was busy at times, there was always plenty of space to find a sunbed in either the sun or the shade. The bus to the Old Town ran every 10 minutes and was very reliable, making it easy to explore Dubrovnik. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent for this style of dining, with a great variety of options. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being given a complimentary late checkout—something we’ve rarely experienced at other hotels. We would happily stay here again.

The hotel is very nice, ecpecially if you are comming wirh a family. Plenty of activities for the kids! Jump park, game room, ect. Definately comming back! P.s. the greatest breakfast and dinner ever had.

Lovely hotel and excellent facilities. It's really set of five associated hotels on one site - each one caters to slightly different demographic. Tirena is aimed at kids and had a very relaxed vibe. Our kids are older, but the kids club looked amazing for the smaller ones and we still used the table tennis and pool table. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety and set us up for the day. The pool was good and never felt too busy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks to Matea for the late check out as out flight wasn't until the evening. Well placed for a trip into Dubrovnik via a short public bus ride - stop is just outside the hotel. Dubrovnik is incredible and would have made the trip worthwhile on its own.

WOW ! Incredible family stay at Valamar Tirena in July. Our two kids (4&7) had the best time. The kids area “Maro World” is incredible. I’ve never seen anything like it - especially not in a hotel setting. The soft play and trampolines were epic. The staff and childcare arrangements are amazing- no strict times and restrictions or rebooking required. We had half board and loved both the breakfast and dinner buffets. We had lunch several times at Olivia bar by the pool. Mario was an excellent waiter there. We loved the relaxed approach across the hotel chain - it is flexible and open for guests to use the pools and facilities In the other hotels which kept things interesting to have a change of scene when we needed it. Also great to have shops and a launderette in the square right by the hotel. We spent a day at the coral beach club which was pricey but memorable. The evening entertainment was really lovely- excellent musicians and kids entertainment was very fun. We can’t fault it at all. Thank you Valamar. We will be back very soon!
