We stayed at this resort recently, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Perfectly located for exploring Rijeka and the surroundings, with service at a five-star level. I especially want to praise Sara at reception – she’s incredibly kind and pleasant! At check-in, she explained everything in detail, helped with parking, and sorted out all the little things without any stress. Thanks to her, we felt welcome right away, also recognized as Gold members. Daniela from room service deserves huge applause – quick, professional, and always with a smile. The food was top quality, and she made us feel extra special. But the biggest shoutout goes to Vedrana! She’s a person with a big heart; you can see she truly cares about people and does her job with real passion – not just for the job, but because she wants guests to feel comfortable. Thanks to her, the hotel becomes more than just accommodation; she knows Rijeka and the area better than any tourist guide. She’s ready to personally organize an excursion based on your preferences, recommends hidden gems, and ensures you experience everything the location has to offer. Vedrana is the star of this hotel – huge kudos once again! I recommend it to everyone, especially those wanting an authentic Rijeka experience. 10/10!

The worst 5* hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The service is horrible, and the food is incredibly limited. It should not be too much to ask to get a drink delivered by the pool. There are QR codes saying “order here”. The WiFi is so incredibly poor that the scanning doesn’t work. When it eventually loads, there’s no option to order anything. There are no towels. I finally found a sign which said the pool bar is closed for the season (which it does not say anywhere else (ie on the TV screens) and reception did not inform of this). The sign says to go to the Pizzaria. Another lift and walk. The pizzeria is closed. I go to the spa reception. The rude woman there tells me the only place to get a drink is the lobby bar. The girl at the lobby bar laughs when I say this is not very 5* service - I should not have to walk to three different locations in my robe and swimwear to get a simple drink. Eventually I complain to reception and they tell me things are closed for the season and offer me a free drink. Guess what? I have to walk back to the lobby bar to claim the free drink. Wonderful. The parking is 35 euros per day but you have to move your own cones out of the way first. The vegan food is a joke - the only protein I ate in 4 days here was the baked beans from breakfast. The chef asked if I’d like fish - what sort of vegan eats fish? Not even vegetarians eat fish. They have no idea what veganism is and expect you to eat side dishes of fries and grilled vegetables as a €55 meal (drinks not included). The “gluten free table” at breakfast is literally one basket of gluten free bread - that’s it. Not even dedicated toaster to avoid cross contamination. The other option is wait until 9:30pm when they’ll deign to serve the à la carte “cauliflower steak” - which is literally a cauliflower on pepper sauce. My final straw was only being permitted one towel - what sort of godforsaken 5* Hilton hotel will flat out say no to guest asking for an extra towel?! Do I look like I’m going to steal a blue towel? One of the huge huge pile of towels that clearly aren’t at risk of running out for the evening?! The attitude of the bar staff and spa receptionist sucks. If you can’t do a good job, don’t bother “closing for the season” - just close fully until the staff can improve their attitudes.

I do not visit resort/spas often, but I can imagine no better experience than I had here. The food, service, spa, swimming were exceptional. Truly perfect!

An impressive hotel resort with pools, beach access, and wellness spa. Staff are well trained & friendly. Excellent value for money. Facilities are exceptional. You'll need a car to go to Rijeka or Opatija, and they charge €25 daily for parking. Worthy of a return visit.
