Grand Hotel View

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and luxurious, with a fresh, modern feel and exceptional cleanliness throughout. We especially appreciated the peaceful beach located just below the hotel, which never felt crowded and provided the perfect place to relax. We paid extra for a sea-view room, and the view was truly stunning and worth every penny. The room itself was very nice, but as we were travelling with a child, we felt that some of the design choices were not particularly family-friendly. The low marble bedside tables and the bed, which was quite firm and had a noticeable gap in the middle, made it difficult for our child to sleep comfortably between us. Apart from that, the room was spacious, stylish, and very well maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet. The selection was excellent, the quality was consistently high, and it was something we genuinely looked forward to every morning. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing. The dinner buffet was well below the standard we expected from a hotel of this level. Most evenings the food was served lukewarm or cold, and the taste and quality were often lacking. On two separate occasions, we were even served undercooked meat/chicken, which was quite concerning. We were also disappointed by the lunch options. The hotel essentially only offered pizza for lunch or a lunch buffet consisting largely of the same dishes served at the dinner buffet. After several days of eating pizza, we decided to try the lunch buffet for a change. To our surprise, we received a bill of €66. Considering the limited selection, repetitive menu, and overall food quality, we were genuinely shocked by the price and did not feel it offered good value for money. As parents, we also felt that the restaurant could be more accommodating for families with young children. A small children’s station with child-sized bowls, spoons, and a greater variety of child-friendly food would have been greatly appreciated. The menu overall lacked variety, and many dishes were repeated throughout the week.

Our stay at Grand Hotel View was fantastic! The breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were superb. The mattresses are quite firm — better than soft for us — and the rooms were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In October, the hotel was nearly empty and the temperature was quite low, so the outdoor pools and beach were closed, but the hotel itself is amazing and very quiet. The spa is incredible, featuring a sauna, ice-cold room, steam room, whirlpool, and salt room — all very relaxing. Kindly note that in the sauna, nudity is allowed. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would definitely visit again!

A lovely hotel but only if you want noise and lots of kids. This would be a great adults only hotel but its definately more for young families. Wish I’d known this before booking. Very noisy with loud music, kids running everywhere and “pool events “. There should really be a pool just for adults but as it is the kids use all three - and as I say - theres lots of them. Most of the pool is surrounded by deckchairs which is unusual and there is gravel around the sunbed area which inevitably ends up in the pool. Such a shame - not the relaxing, chilled out holiday I’d hoped for.

Everything was perfect? The hotel is new, situated in a beautiful place, the village itself is lovely! The rooms and the view on the sea is perfect! The staff is very friendly! Great animation team for kids and adults! The food is very tasty and diverse! Highly recommend!

As someone originally from Brač, I had the pleasure of staying at Grand Hotel View in Postira for a short visit — and I was genuinely impressed. It’s rare to find a hotel that blends modern comfort with the relaxed charm of the island, but this place does it beautifully. The location is perfect — quiet, scenic, and just a short walk from the center of Postira. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a fantastic sea view. Even during a short stay, I could feel the attention to detail and genuine care from the staff. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family!
