Grand Hotel View

Our stay at Grand Hotel View was fantastic! The breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were superb. The mattresses are quite firm — better than soft for us — and the rooms were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In October, the hotel was nearly empty and the temperature was quite low, so the outdoor pools and beach were closed, but the hotel itself is amazing and very quiet. The spa is incredible, featuring a sauna, ice-cold room, steam room, whirlpool, and salt room — all very relaxing. Kindly note that in the sauna, nudity is allowed. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would definitely visit again!

A lovely hotel but only if you want noise and lots of kids. This would be a great adults only hotel but its definately more for young families. Wish I’d known this before booking. Very noisy with loud music, kids running everywhere and “pool events “. There should really be a pool just for adults but as it is the kids use all three - and as I say - theres lots of them. Most of the pool is surrounded by deckchairs which is unusual and there is gravel around the sunbed area which inevitably ends up in the pool. Such a shame - not the relaxing, chilled out holiday I’d hoped for.

Everything was perfect? The hotel is new, situated in a beautiful place, the village itself is lovely! The rooms and the view on the sea is perfect! The staff is very friendly! Great animation team for kids and adults! The food is very tasty and diverse! Highly recommend!

As someone originally from Brač, I had the pleasure of staying at Grand Hotel View in Postira for a short visit — and I was genuinely impressed. It’s rare to find a hotel that blends modern comfort with the relaxed charm of the island, but this place does it beautifully. The location is perfect — quiet, scenic, and just a short walk from the center of Postira. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a fantastic sea view. Even during a short stay, I could feel the attention to detail and genuine care from the staff. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family!

This hotel has a lot going for it but still needs a couple of little improvements. Positives first. Great spacious room with fantastic view, kept spotlessly clean. Beautiful bathroom, great products and good hairdryer. Kettle & coffee & mini-fridge and good safe. No milk for coffee though. Spa is good and free to use with robes/towels etc. Decent gym. Excellent WiFi across whole hotel. Staff broadly pretty friendly, esp waiting staff in restaurant. Breakfast decent. Omelettes particularly good. Negatives now. Food in the evening not great, pretty much same choices every night and if your any later to dinner than 7pm then choice becomes limited. Some of the hot food not particularly hot and pizza/pasta looks very tired even by 7pm. Wine choices limited, lowest priced bottle of wine is 35euros and wine by the glass ok price wise but tiny measures. Reception staff (with the exception of the male) abrupt and not particularly helpful. Coffees around hotel not great. Paying for sunbeds at the hotel beach is poor! Atmosphere in the restaurant pretty dull - lot of older people doing a lot of looking you up & down! All in all we had a lovely stay but even though we had paid half board we decided to eat out in the village 5 of our 10 nights just to give some variety. Croatia though we loved!
