Hotel Le Meridien Lav

Excellent location. Good breakfast, excellent Croatian hostess Ivana and excellent Filipino staff at breakfast. Good icecream place, good restaurants. Excellent receptionist Ms Ivana who is an outstanding ambassador for the house. However, not all staff perform up to these standards which makes the experience a little choppy.

CONSTANT CRYING BABIES !!! Poolside, restaurants, at breakfast…. There are babies crying everywhere. I’m not sure why this is the case, but unless you adore screaming children, go elsewhere. This is my 3rd trip to Le Méridien Lav, but this trip was miserable with the children & babies. The parents are totally ineffective in quieting their children. I’ve hustled dined at Colemari, and witnessed 2 school-aged brothers fight like an mma match at the booth (adjacent to an elderly woman trying to eat)…parents did nothing. The screaming is intense, unrelenting, and unsettling.

Booked premium sea view room through British Airways holidays. Room was superb. 14th floor overlooking the sea. Room immaculate. I then looked at some of the negative reviews over the last few weeks and they don’t make sense. Someone said the food in the restaurant was mediocre and service poor. Absolute nonsense. Food in all the restaurants night be a bit expensive but really good quality and waiting staff so attentive and friendly Someone said the rooms smelt of mould. No idea where they were staying but ours was modern and spotless Someone said breakfast service faced challenges. No idea what they were as it’s a buffet and very easy to find a table either on the terrace or inside. Very good selection of food from egg station, to meats cheeses, salads, pastries. Staff very happy to get you a coffee if you can serve yourself Someone said they charge €5 for orange juice at breakfast. Total nonsense. There are machines with orange, apple blueberry everywhere as well as three types of iced flavoured water. As you enter the restaurant there is a basket with a couple of bottles of some sort of probiotic orange juice at the€5 which the previous report refers to. Overall ignore the stupid reviews. This is an excellent hotel. Restaurants very good but if you don’t want to pay hotel prices every night take a stroll down the concrete beach path and you will find several cheaper ones.

Fascinating! Don’t miss it! Best food- best and safest beach with clear water and clean beach which is not too crowded. Excellent for a family as they have an amazing kids club with water sport etc. staff are the best I’ve seen. Too many restaurants to choose from on their beach which feels very private. The staff especially Ivana was extremely helpful. I was at Harmony villa hotel which was absolutely awful and same price!!! This is a great price and value. Worth it. Fabulous !! Nearly cancelled due to bad reviews …. How wrong how terrible to write them ! Must stay on sea view - view is stunning . Looked at park view gives a very different feel , although suite is nice view changes everything . Breakfast fab , so much choice loads of seating . Beach clubs great ! Port 74 restaurant beautiful food amazing , not cheap but worth it 🥰
