Palace Suites Split

Arrived and quick booking in at reception. Very friendly, helpful & gave us maps and said ask anything whilst staying. Our room was clean, spacious & had all we needed for 4 nights. Bathroom has a great shower & bed was twins pushed together. Was very comfy and the air con easily adjustable re temps & underfloor heating. Breakfast is in the small dining room next to the reception and was simple but done really well. I had cereals (which included options of muesli / corn flakes / granola and some other options. Milk options also varied, including full / semi / Soya / Coconut etc Bread options also fresh each day along with yogurts, fruit and scarmbled eggs, fried eggs and some other hot options. The location of the hotel is outstanding. We got a Bolt cab from the airport to the hotel on the way in but having read the in room hotel booklet, decided to book their transfer back. Oddly, the room booklet is clearly out of date as it says its transfers are 35 euros. When booked at the hotel reception though, they said it was 50. Very odd considering the wording attached in thephoto says this sort of price should be considered a fraud 😆 Having been transferred by Leon (who reception booked) i have no complaints as he was outstanding and a very engaging and professional driver. Thank you Leon! May I suggest the hotel updates its booklet though 👍

4 night stay in this perfectly located charming hotel in the amazing Novotny Square, with so many restaurants and bars, a short few steps away from Dominican's Palace gates. Lovely, clean rooms with all necessary amenities and a very comfy bed. Excellent breakfast in a room overlooking the square. Having a lift was very helpful, as I have walking difficulties. The staff were hugely helpful and friendly.

Great location in the heart of beautiful Split but not very impressed with the room. Our one window looked out at the side street’s wall which meant natural light was very limited. Other reviews have mentioned complementary water and wine. Our fridge, sadly, was empty. Bed was fine. No choice of pillows (see other reviews) and the foam ones we had were very firm indeed. Shower functioned well but was small. Breakfast room small, cramped when busy and it took time to restock items. Staff in the breakfast room needed to up their hospitality skills somewhat. Not friendly, quite fierce! One man picked up a croissant he was going to eat and the staff member remonstrated: no fingers! Yet my husband had seen same staff member pick up spilled granola - with her fingers - and then put it back in the dispenser! We were on 1st floor, next to reception, which meant it was pretty noisy at times. By far the best thing about this hotel was its great position in the city.

Incredible hotel on the main square in split. The rooms were incredibly comfy with character reflecting this old building and town. The rooms were was perfect with complimentary water and a bottle of wine. Plenty of room with a well thought out bathroom, pleat y of different pillows and a warm welcome.

Lady M at the front desk was very friendly, and the property was well-located, but the magic to our room on the 4th floor was the bathroom. Put your phone in the corner pocket and crank up a favorite tune, blast the water and the harmonics will make it so that you never, ever want to leave the shower, which featured double rain heads and side jets. I did have to massage the silicone nipples to get the water spraying well. But the harmonics....if you love music, you're going to love that bathroom.
