Dolphin Suites Curacao

Skvělý hotel / apartmán. Čisté pokoje mají plně vybavenou kuchyň. Prostorné pokoje. Pokoj funguje skvěle s menším dítětem. Cestovali jsme s našimi 14 měsíci. Měli také vysokou židli, kterou jsme si mohli půjčit. Personál byl velmi milý a užitečný. Hotel se nachází v blízkosti pláže. Pokoj byl snadno přístupný výtahem. Bazén byl malý, ale nepoužívali jsme ho, protože moře bylo skvělé. Můžete mít volné plážové židle u mambo pláže. Nabízejí také volný vstup do mořského akvária. Tam byl autobus, který mohl volně jít do supermarketu nakupovat jídlo. Bylo snadné vzít místní autobusy do centra města. Skvělé restaurace poblíž.

My family came down over the holidays, and we enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Suites. I believe the "wellness" part is more recuperation than pampering because every room was set up for disabled guests. The rooms were fine, no frills. We were in the old section adjacent to the pool. The new section boasts the restaurant, which was very nice, but was a little awkward for us. Never really sure what was included, who was helping us, what we were supposed to do. The restaurant closed at 4:00 pm each day. All the employees were very nice. The property is in a great location across the street from Mambo Beach, with lots of bars and restaurants and a great boardwalk for shopping. The beaches seemed to be man-made, with artificial reefs creating a swimming area. The sandy areas were small and filled with chaises and umbrellas, which you will need to pay for. Dolphin Suites supposedly has free access to one section of the beach, but it was pretty far down, so we never used it. We had a nice stay, and I'm sure the price was right (my wife made the arrangements) but I would suggest taking a look at the Lions Dive Resort, directly across the street, and on the beach, or other resorts towards Williamsted.

We recently returned from a 6 night stay and it was disappointing. For the 6 nights, our room was only made up 2 times. I understand not making up the room on Xmas day, but the rest of the time there was no reason. We had to frequently ask for towels (they seemed short on towels, both beach towels and room towels). On a 3rd time, repeated nagging brought housekeeping but all they did was make up the beds -- no trash emptying or towels. They never really cleaned the glasses/dishes - they seemed to only rinse them which left food and spots and they were placed with the clean dishes. Breakfast service was extremely slow - it starts at 7:3 but we had to check in with the dive boat by 8 and despite ordering simple food (yogurt w/fruit) we were still late. The rooms on the main floor are quite noisy - both from the lobby noise and upstairs. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure.

We have been terribly disappointed in the housekeeping and service. We're on the 4th day of 7 days and it is a struggle to get clean towels and the room cleaned. There were 2 towels when we arrived. No hand towels. We asked for extra towels and got them. We asked for towels yesterday and after 2 requests today, still do not have towels. We asked 2 times to have the room cleaned. It happened later today, but it doesn't look much cleaner. They left several empty bottles and trash on the counter - they were there because the only trash can in the room was a tiny one in the bathroom. When asked for assistance, staff are kind but slow to respond, if they do respond. We've been so disappointed in the room, the service, and the lack of follow-through it has colored our entire experience of the island.

lovely and very kindly personal beautiful rooms with good service Reefs Cafe and Bar - dushi (sweet) and really tasty food every day fresh towels for the beach, Mambo beach entrance included, Laundry service as well fantastic garden with pools and library, lots of small and hidden places to get some drinks small but very kindly shop at the corner for daily stuff and souvenirs we enjoyed our time there quite a lot :) love this place :)
