Dreams Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino

This hotel is in serious need of a renovation. Built in 1965 and it’s old and outdated. Doors to rooms stick when opening and closing which causes loud slamming. Restaurants and buffets are hit and miss not knowing which ones are open any given night. Dinners on the beach was bad due bugs bites on legs, flimsy chairs and either cold or overcooked food from buffet setup. Little beach area but get down early as people claim chairs as early as 0700. All restaurants are à la carte so same same every day. Taxi to Willemstad is around $20 usd going and then up to $40 usd back. No shuttle service anymore. Just rent a car from hotel using your own car rental app if you get a discount from company as they are generally much more. I picked up a Hertz for 69 usd a day whereas the hotel wanted 135 usd for the cheapest option. Buyer beware. Staff are nice friendly etc. food was meh hotel itself was ready for retirement.

As a local visiting for staycation..0/10 dont recommend. Here im sitting with a clogged toilet for more than 1hour and they said they already came by while that is a complete lie. Ive been sitting here waiting and waiting and calling. Service is horrible, oh and dont get me on the flies. All over the food, at breakfast. Disgusting!

As a UVC member I was very disappointed with this resort. The hospitality was lacking, the room quality was poor. Multiple things In the rooms were broken. Would not go back to this resort.
