Lopesan Serenity Bay Resort, Spa & Casino

Lopesan serenity is a beautiful place. But the food is terrible at all of the restaurants it is tasteless and flies and knats swarmed all over the food and the food is cold. Everything is ordered was cold not warm or hot, and the servers have a I don't care attitude. The soda was flat the margaritas were just frozen syrup. The workers seem to show a little anger when you try to communicate. If you are none Spanish speaking, you will have a very bad time. Will never go back. Spent money to enjoy the snacks that I bought from home.

We recently booked a stay at Lopesan Serenity Bay because it was advertised as an ADULTS-ONLY resort. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but adults-only. If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful adults-only vacation, I strongly recommend choosing another resort. During our stay, we experienced children screaming, parties involving children, and significant noise coming from the swim-up suites. There was also heavy marijuana smoke coming from neighboring rooms, to the point that we had to keep our own door closed to avoid the smell. This was our second time visiting Punta Cana, and we were extremely disappointed with this experience. We brought our concerns to the resort’s attention, including the fact that we had children staying in rooms next to us, but nothing was done to resolve the situation. The food was just okay and did not meet the expectations we had for the resort. The bar staff and room service staff were the highlights of our stay—they were friendly and provided great service. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we have ever had. When we return to Punta Cana, we will be going back to resorts such as Excellence or Secrets, where we have had the relaxing adults-only experience we were expecting. If you are specifically booking Lopesan Serenity Bay because you want an adults-only, peaceful vacation, I would think twice before booking. Our experience was absolutely not what we expected from an adults-only resort.
