Lopesan Serenity Bay Resort, Spa & Casino

We recently booked a stay at Lopesan Serenity Bay because it was advertised as an ADULTS-ONLY resort. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but adults-only. If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful adults-only vacation, I strongly recommend choosing another resort. During our stay, we experienced children screaming, parties involving children, and significant noise coming from the swim-up suites. There was also heavy marijuana smoke coming from neighboring rooms, to the point that we had to keep our own door closed to avoid the smell. This was our second time visiting Punta Cana, and we were extremely disappointed with this experience. We brought our concerns to the resort’s attention, including the fact that we had children staying in rooms next to us, but nothing was done to resolve the situation. The food was just okay and did not meet the expectations we had for the resort. The bar staff and room service staff were the highlights of our stay—they were friendly and provided great service. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we have ever had. When we return to Punta Cana, we will be going back to resorts such as Excellence or Secrets, where we have had the relaxing adults-only experience we were expecting. If you are specifically booking Lopesan Serenity Bay because you want an adults-only, peaceful vacation, I would think twice before booking. Our experience was absolutely not what we expected from an adults-only resort.

Booked this hotel for it claiming to be an ADULTS ONLY serene “serenity” atmosphere. It has been anything but. The room next to us had children who were in our swim up suite pool right next to us… we complained the first day we arrived and asked to be put in the adults only section of the resort as it claimed to include in the booking only to be denied. We are here now listening to children yell, splash and sneeze all over the place… it’s it’s Serenity you want it is not what you will get. . For those who don’t mind not adults only the rooms are spacious and the service is good. Just very loud and annoying for a couple looking for some peace and quiet. We will not be back

well where do I start , after a much few restless nights before we came on this holiday because of many reviews that were controvertial I am here laying by the pool , I can defiantly report that this is not ADULTS ONLY part of a much larger hotel . We arrived after a long flight no welcome drink . Greeted by a Craine and a very very dark building . The hotel respsonist could hardly see our booking it was so dark . It seemed like we had arrived in a prison . Not a good start . Was not given any info’s about were things where . Children in the adults only pool went to recption and complained it stopped for one day . But now there back , don’t get me wrong we love children we have grand children , but we choose not to holiday with them and pay a premium for adults only . I would avoid this hotel if I was you , I wish I had . I’m sure more is going to happen before our holiday is over . Please reconsider before coming here . If your after a peacfull holiday go elsewhere .
