Beautiful, unique decor, lots of buffet food options, 2 days ahead À la carte restaurant reservation plus, Haitian entertainment spoke English and French with many different music playing not just Dominican and Spanish. Missing do not disturb room tag, snack &splash restaurant not open, wave pool open without operating waves. The garden buffet not open, only 1 buffet to eat in for breakfast and lunch, 24 H restaurant have fast food very limited menu. Many beach chairs, but couldn’t enjoy the beach with the seaweed, recommend RTV pass to remove the seagrass instead 5-6 guys raking manually all day

Best food I've had at any Punta Cana resort, and I've been coming for 30 years I've stayed at maybe 15 different resorts. This one has the best food of all of them. Across the board: buffets, à la carte restaurants, everything. High quality, fresh, delicious. The Brazilian steakhouse was the standout. WITH KIDS The beach themed pools were a game changer. Having actual sand for the kids to play in without going to the beach every single day made our trip. (The beach itself is a ten minute walk, which was fine, and there are golf carts from the lobby if you'd rather ride.) The kids waterslide area is fantastic. Shallow enough that you can bring a toddler in, but the slides are fast enough that the older kids loved it too. The kids club is great. Really nice staff, fun activities, huge new space. It was relatively empty while we were there, so it was like each of our kids had a personal friend to hang out with. Antonia, Vicky, Avias, Liz, and Monica were all wonderful. Wednesday is movie night with pizza, which was a nice break since other nights we were rushing to dinner before the evening activities. One odd thing: they missed on the lighting and it feels weirdly dark in there. Babysitting is available for $20/hour, which helps a lot if you have kids under 4 (the kids club cutoff). The sitter is a kids club worker and can watch your child in the kids club, your room, or a public area. It took me a few tries to figure out the process, so here it is: go to the kids club and confirm availability, dial 2125 to reach the customer relations desk, she sends an email to the kids club, then walk back over to the kids club to confirm they got it. THE ONE REAL BOTTLENECK The public relations desk is the main point of failure at this resort. Manual dinner reservations (ours were manual because of a bug in the app), babysitter requests, anything like that has to go through that one desk, staffed by one person. There can be five front desk employees standing there and three people in line, and everyone still waits on the public relations person. Anything to do with your bracelet also has to wait until after 11am. STILL BEING BUILT The place is beautiful and new things are going up daily, so some features aren't available yet. It's at a good tipping point though, where there's more than enough to do that the construction adds excitement instead of getting in the way. The flip side is that hours keep changing while they work things out. While we were there they moved the ice cream shop (Iceberg) from 11-8 to 2-6, and the kids club hours seemed to shift too. Just double check before you plan around anything. ONE BAD DESIGN CHOICE There are drawers right by the entrance of each room. If someone leaves one open, the door won't open, and your bracelet only works on one room even if you booked connecting rooms. One of our kids left the drawer open in the room I had access to, my wife was across the resort at the spa, and I was locked out with our baby right before nap time until we got help. Worth knowing. PRACTICAL TIPS Bring flip-flops. The dark tiles get hot enough to blister your feet in seconds. Practice a little Spanish before you come. How to order an omelette, common drinks, please and thank you. It saves time and goes a long way. Bring singles for tips. No kid-height urinals anywhere on the property that I found, so plan on lifting your child. The rooms cover just about every bathroom thing you could need: shampoo and conditioner, sewing kit, shoe shining kit, shaving kit, comb, toothbrushing kit, beach tote, and a coffee maker. And the best bar on the property is the one in the downstairs lobby.

Horrible experience the resort is beautiful, but the worst customer service I’ve ever seen from the first day until the last day if you don’t speak Spanish do not go
