Secrets Tides Punta Cana

We went here twice, first as part of a Love at Fist Site package and then for our wedding. Glaymi is the most amazing wedding coordinator (now manager) and everyone is so nice. The rooms are well put together and clean, the beach is amazing, the food is terrific. I will say that they don’t always clearly label vegan options at the buffet, but at the Italian restaurant they made me a special vegan meal which was very considerate. They even specially got vegan steak for our wedding food. There were a few other things that could have been better, but for us this was the perfect venue to host a wedding as it was large but still condensed enough to where everyone could easily mingle. Would definitely go back.

We had an amazing time at Secrets Tides Resort and highly recommend it. The updated rooms were a massive highlight—they felt fresh, modern, and very comfortable. Compared to other places we’ve stayed, the layout here isn't overly spread out, which we loved. Everything is compact and easy to get to without endless walking. The beach is on the smaller side, but it is beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. What really made our trip special was the friendly staff, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. On top of that, the food was consistently good throughout our entire stay. If you are looking for a beautiful, well-laid-out resort with excellent service and great rooms, this is the place to be!

My husband and I had a PHENOMENAL honeymoon here!!! Our butler, Milciades “Mickey”, was top notch. 10/10!! I could text him at any moment and I would get a reply within 2-3 minutes. He was so so helpful!! Everything here was breathtaking. I literally cried when we left because it was simply so perfect. I would love to go back for an anniversary trip! We will be recommending Secrets Tides to all of our friends!!

Outstanding and beautiful resort with excellent service and staff. The beach is well maintained and nice with covered palapas for almost all guests. Our room was a 4th floor garden view which when on the balcony you can see the ocean in the distance. Some food was just okay while others were excellent but could vary based on personal taste. At El Patio, get the fajitas - as the experience and taste are excellent. A few noteworthy staff members stand out such as Felix (morning buffet and el patio in the evening), Samantha (buffet), Jose (beach bar waiter), and the entire sports bar staff ( didn’t get everyone’s names but did see Francisco was one of them). The resort is located about an hour from the airport. It’s not a cheap vacation but the resort is new - less than 3 years old - and is well maintained. And the price seems to weed out the party crowd leading to a more relaxing atmosphere. The nightly entertainment can be somewhat loud in the nearby rooms but does not run too late. The pool closest to the beach is the party pool with the louder music and vibe whereas the 2 pools closer to the lobby are more relaxed and chill. Resort and room - A+ Service and staff - A+ Atmosphere - A Food - B+ Excellent vacation for our 5th trip to the DR and 3rd time in the Punta Cana area.

We returned a few days ago from a girl's trip to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We had an AMAZING time and will 100% return. A few standouts from our visit: We did NOT stay preferred and all had swim out rooms. Two were next to one another and the third room was in a different building. We thought that would be an issue, but it was totally fine. Please do not stress if you are not located super close to the rest of your party. Rooms: LOVED them! Great space, amenities and service! No complaints! Food: This was above average. We had some amazing meals (Tierra and El Patio were the standout winners!!!) and a couple of not so great (Oceana was a complete let down and Seaside Grill was average). The buffet was a pleasant surprise for breakfast and lunch! We did have Barefoot Grill delivered by Happy Boy (shout out to him!!!) a couple of times. It did the job. I do feel like there are some areas lacking with food for non preferred guests, but there was never a time we did not have access to something acceptable. Also want to call out a few of the pool servers that did a wonderful job! Miguelina and Edwin were GREAT! They were super attentive and always had us smiling! Also want to shout out Sonia at the Theatre bar and Richard at the Manatee Swim up bar. Drinks were on point! BIG shout out to Felix (BEST server!) Activities: INCREDIBLE options throughout the day. The staff was SUPER engaging and is a BIG part of the amazing time we had. Loved the variety even though we did not get to do all we wanted. We were enjoying the pools too much! Spa: Cannot say enough good about the spa! We LOVED it! Had TWO massages because the service was so great. Yomari was the BEST massage therapist! Alejandro was walking around with specials for the spa, and we LOVED seeing him each day. He was so personable! Entertainment: THIS. THIS IS WHERE WE LOVED OUR TRIP. I cannot say enough about the entertainment staff. They absolutely made our trip. More than anything else. The shows were great, but the after parties and staff interactions were BEYOND INCREDIBLE! Gregory, Tedi, Pedro (Chocolate), Sander (Grandpa), Endri and Mayra basically made our trip the VERY best it could be. We interacted with them throughout the day. They got to know us and we looked forward to seeing them each day. We even sought out daily activities because they were leading them. Specifically Grandpa since everything he did was "SUPER EASY" according to him. Spoiler alert, it was not. LOL. Which we loved. THESE folks are the MAIN reason we will return to the resort.
