Italian restaurant is so far the best, Mohamed the manager made us very welcome and the staff was very attentive and food was absolutely delicious so well done team. Haidi was superb welcoming us so well done. Dear Rixos management, please make adult section in the main restaurant if possible! The infinity pool is superb and the staff top class so well done they really police it well to stick to the 18+ Thank you Jay&Bea
Krásné prostředí, příjemní lidé, animátoři, obsluha baru, restaurací, skvělý servis po všech stránkách. Velmi doporučujeme.
Hotel i služby skvěle, doporučuji návštěvu brazilské restaurace - výborná masa, skvělý grilovaný ananas a perfektní obsluha
We had a pleasant stay with the family and the staff made our trip unforgettable stay. Zayed from the lagoon bar made extra efforts to make us feel welcomed and by the way he’s the best in making cocktails 😊
Before detailing our experience, it is crucial to mention a frustrating practice at this resort. Staff constantly pressure guests for good reviews, making you write them on the spot, dictating content, or asking for proof. This stay has been filled with inconsistent daily operational decisions, lack of standardization/quality control. and fluctuations in the quality of goods and services provided. We recently spent 7 nights at the Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View as a couple. We returned to this beautiful oasis to try the new resort after staying in the main/original Magawish resort prior this year in April. Location: Next to the main/original Magawish resort, short drive from the airport. world-class views. A beautiful oasis full of greenery, stunning views of the Read Sea. You can see White Island clearly, with Magawish and Giftun Islands in the distance, boats and vessels travel between the islands all day, blue turquoise waters, sandy beaches. A Perfect 10/10 Rooms: Stayed in building 66. This was bang on in the middle of the resort. The hardware here is top-tier: elegant, large rooms featuring a truly luxurious modern decoration, smart switches to control the blinds, lights, and room settings. Proper blackout curtains and excellent sound insulation that successfully blocks out external pool and walkway noise, comfortable mattress with good quality pillows and sheets, i had an amazing night's sleep. Because I am a returning customer, Omar took excellent care of us and arranged an upgrade from a Superior Room to a Superior Suite. It made our arrival seamless and set a wonderful tone for the trip. Big thanks to OMAR! 10/10 Cleanliness: WALID introduced himself on our very first day to ask about our personal preferences, and he proceeded to over-deliver on multiple occasions. He completely respected our privacy, changed our towels daily, refilled the minibar flawlessly, and kept the room in pristine condition. Thank you, WALID — you are a true professional and a gentleman. 10/10 Food: The food was unfortunately a noticeable downgrade from our previous trip. The buffet options at Turquoise felt even more limited, repetitive, and lacked good quality. The main restaurant was very crowded, and table service was slow most of the time. There is a very low variation in food choices, and the actual quality is a big letdown for a resort of this caliber. The grill service often rejected requests as their priority seemed to be filling the bulk dishes, most of the meat was inconsistently cooked. There was a poor variation of premium proteins like beef, lamb, or goat—instead, we were mostly offered chicken (sometimes turkey) and minced beef every single time. Strangely, certain items like crispy chicken nuggets were kept hidden under the counter and only given to guests who explicitly knew to ask for them. Furthermore, once an item runs out at the buffet, it is not replenished quickly—sometimes not at all. If you stay here, you will want to rely heavily on the à la carte options—which, thanks to FATEMA, we were actually able to enjoy seamlessly. FATEMA from guest relations made our stay not only comfortable but memorable. Not only she helped me to plan a romantic beach dinner as a surprise for my fiancée. While other Guest Relations staff completely refused to help or provide basic details, FATEMA stepped in and took control. Even though this was my second time visiting this resort concept, there were details I still did not know. Despite the resort's system not working at the time, she diligently handled my needs manually and appointed everything perfectly exactly as requested. She went completely above and beyond, assisting with various other needs throughout our stay. She is a massive asset to this brand. Thank you for everything! Hope to see you again! Drinks and Bars: The beverage concept is equally baffling and not premium at all. There are no drink menus. If you ask for a mocktail, it is made completely differently from bar to bar. I had to explicitly go up to the counter, explain what I wanted, and literally point out the specific bottles for the staff to use. If you do not drink alcohol, you are basically left with basic bottled drinks. Furthermore, basic beach logistics are completely mismanaged. The beach fridges frequently run completely empty—to the point where it was impossible to find simple WATER as early as 10:00 AM on the beach. To make matters worse, the drinks they did have in the fridge were sometimes boiling hot. It's the same with other things across the resort. They ran out of chips at the beach bar, so I was sent to an entirely different part of the complex to find some instead for them just to request more. The exact same issue happened when looking for a milkshake (no milk available) or a simple fruit juice (also the Fitbar/Fresh drinks bar is useless, they don't make you fresh juices, the guy has a premade juice there, you cannot personalize it). There is a total lack of organization, and the management seems to think it is completely okay not to serve you the basic items that should be normal at a 5-star hotel. 1/10 Beach: The daily race for beach spots is easily the most frustrating part of the outdoor experience. Despite the hotel's official rule stating that guests will lose their spot if left vacant for over an hour, this policy is completely ignored if you leave personal belongings behind. As a result, intense "sunbed wars" break out before 7:00 AM, with people blocking the prime loungers hours before the lifeguards even arrive. I saw guests fighting for them and staff did not manage the situation as expected While Beach 2 is easily the best spot on the property, it is simply too small for a resort of this size. If you don't wake up early enough to win a spot there, you are forced to head over to Beach 1. Beach 1 is in urgent need of an upgrade; it is filled with old sunlounges, lacks its own proper bar, and features a very rocky entry. Furthermore, it is the area most heavily affected by the tide, leaving you with poor swimming conditions if the water levels drop. Management desperately needs to invest in improving this section to relieve the overcrowding on the main beach. Transportation: The logistics team is severely struggling to handle the expansion of the Bay View section, resulting in a transportation system that is deeply flawed. There simply are not enough shuttle buses to support the resort’s footprint, leading to long waiting times and terrible route designs. For our first three days, buses didn’t even come to the back of the Bay View area until a loop was finally created. When a shuttle does arrive, it is frequently packed to the point where you are crammed in like a sardine—often with 3 to 4 people squeezed onto a single row, which feels like a safety disaster waiting to happen. However, the saving grace of this entire system is the drivers themselves. They do a tremendous job under high pressure and deserve the highest regard as true professionals. Each day they worked tirelessly to make our stay more comfortable. A huge shout-out goes to my favorite driver, MAHMOUD, who is the absolute best of the best when it comes to efficiency, managing routes, and getting you to your destination as fast as possible, always with smiles and laughter included. OSAMA is another individual who consistently found a way to calmly navigate these sometimes tense transit situations without leaving guest behind. While I cannot remember all the drivers names, the entire driving team showed dedication that stood out completely on its own merit. 10/10 for the drivers. Quick a la carte reviews: Mexican at Casa Fiesta: Just ok, nothing special for me. 8/10 Turkish Breakfast at Mykonos: Spectacular, Mr Rezzak delivers again! 10/10 Brazilian La Churrascaria: The best food, fun concept/experience, i had a great time with the chef. 10/10 Asian: Food tasted bad, sushi was just ok. 5/10 Staff was brilliant, Sarah really tried her best to make us as comfortable as possible. Thank you Sarah! L Olivo Italian Restaurant: Nice location, very bad food (i actually felt ill that night), catastrophic atmosphere. Avoid! 1/10 Salt: Nice atmosphere/location, food is not bad but definitely not something special you find the same things at the main Turquoise buffet restaurant. 7/10 The Mangal: Fun concept/experience, tasty food, great waiters, i had a blast with MOHAMED and AHMED GAD, these 2 guys were exceptional! Thank you very much! Bon Appetit! 10/10 Mykonos (lunch): This is where we spend most of our days at lunch. OMAR was our waiter and took really good care of us. Food was delicious! 10/10 Peoples (lunch): The menu is now more extensive. Quick snacks. Noting bad to say about it, but i enjoy other types of dishes. Still nice to have! Very good waiter service. Thank you guys! Entertainment: We enjoyed the Pink Party and the Sunset Party; it is a nice addition to the resort's lineup, though the energy is still nowhere near the standard set by locations like Sharm El Sheikh or Radamis. Unfortunately, the organization leaves a lot to be desired. In particular the MC needs a reality check. Screaming "let's get high" into a microphone at events where children are actively present is a bizarre and completely inappropriate message to promote. The saving grace of the entire entertainment team was MUHAMMAD ALI. He was the only nice, genuinely helpful guy who wasn't cringe like the others. He took the time to explain all the activities and details to us without any pressure, and his professionalism stood out on its own merit. Hope to someday come back and experience this resort to it's full potential. شكراً
