⭐⭐⭐ Jaz Neo Sharks Bay — Honest 2-Week Stay Review Stayed: 2 weeks | Visited as a couple 📍 Location Extremely close to the airport — perfect for quick transfers. There is nothing right around the hotel itself. Soho Square is just a 5-minute taxi ride away. There is a shop at the back of the hotel, though it barely looks like one from the outside. 💙 Staff The absolute highlight! Every single member — bar staff, cleaners, waiters — were lovely, friendly, and genuinely went out of their way to help. A special mention for Abdo at the snack bar — he is amazing and an absolute credit to this hotel. 🛏️ Rooms We hit problems straight away: key card barely worked, and the electric kept tripping out. Staff responded fast and maintenance fixed it — but it was 12:30am before we were sorted, which was very frustrating. Rooms are small but modern. Cleaners attend daily; sometimes a little late in the day, which didn’t bother us. 🏊 Pool Lovely pool area! Loads of sunbeds available and absolutely no sunbed wars — such a welcome relief and a big plus. 🍽️ Food Breakfast: Very limited selection and honestly not great — though tastes differ. Lunch (Snack Bar): Everything cooked fresh to order — really nice, highly recommended. Main Restaurant: We didn’t try it so can’t comment. Dinner: A complete shambles. No proper options for children whatsoever. The selection feels tailored to other nationalities — not British guests — which made eating properly very difficult for us. 🛍️ On-Site Shops & Salon • Shop: Tiny, overpriced, poor selection — better to head into Soho Square. • Souvenir shop: Always haggle! Prices start high. We were also told our expensive genuine sunglasses were fakes — which was insulting and completely uncalled for. • Hair Salon: Avoid at all costs. Massively overpriced, rushed service. They quote one price poolside then charge a completely different amount at the till. 🎉 Entertainment & Activities Amir and Sena try their absolute best and are wonderful, friendly — but they are clearly not given enough resources to run proper activities. You get water polo and darts, and that’s about it. One senior female member of the team is rude, lazy, ignores guests, and sits on her phone all day. Evening entertainment is repetitive, starts late, and lasts barely 1 hour 45 minutes — far too short. ⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR FAMILIES: There is zero entertainment for children. The kids club is closed. This hotel does not cater for children at all in any way. It is falsely advertised as suitable for families — it is not. ⚠️ Advertising & Facilities — Be Aware! • Beach access is at a sister hotel and requires a bus ride — not on-site as pictures suggest. • Some room photos shown online do not match what you actually get here. • For a 3–4 star rating, the hotel falls short on several key points. ✅ Final Verdict As a couple, we had a lovely time overall — great staff, nice pool, relaxing vibe. But be clear: this is NOT a family hotel despite how it may be advertised. It suits adults and couples wanting peace and quiet perfectly. If they improved entertainment, added proper kids’ facilities, and fixed their advertising, this would be excellent. As it stands — lovely for adults, avoid with children.

Staff lovely but hotel not recommended for anyone with disability. Ahmed our cleaner was wonderful and kept our room very clean and was lovely natured.
