Base Camp Lodge Les 2 Alpes

Stayed here via Inghams early April 2026. Had a great time. It's not 5 star luxury but completely met our needs. We had a room in the Annexe which was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and really nice. Breakfast was great. There was limited choice at the evening meal. A soup, salad with meats and cheeses, a main and a dessert but the quality was excellent. We're not fussy eaters so we really enjoyed the food. Very conveniently located about a 5 minute walk to the nearest ski lift and near to bus stops, bars etc. Couldnt fault it for what we paid and would definitely go back.

We would not choose to stay at this hotel again as there was one member of staff at breakfast who was not very kind and was very rude to us. It seemed like he did not enjoy his job and everything was an inconvenience to him. We were very polite and always the answer was no or we have run out or it is finished. Apart from this one person all the other staff were very polite and kind, the rooms in the annex where we stayed were very small and the beds were not comfortable with no balcony. Location was very good but there is certainly room for improvement as the breakfast and evening meals were very limited, I didn’t like the system of clearing our own tables after breakfast and dinner as it felt like a Canteen rather than a Restaurant. There is better Hotels available when you feel you are not welcome and feel like a nuisance to the staff.

Stayed here with Inghams. Excellent hotel, very close to the slopes. Clean, well maintained, lovely staff, ideal ski food. Great value and beautiful views. Also has a sauna which was a great way to unwind.

Great location, very modern hotel (lovely bar area) with friendly staff. If you stay in the annex rooms across the street, the rooms are very small and cramped (would be ideal as a single room but not as a twin). Breakfast options good, evening meals very basic on half board basis. I'd recommend staying on a Bed and Breakfast basis and either eating from the bar restaurant or elsewhere in Les Deux Alpes
