B&B Hotel Grenoble Centre Verlaine

Personál byl přátelský a placené podzemní parkoviště bylo výhodné. To je málo pozitíva tohoto hotelu be & be. Zbytek hotelu viděl lepší dny. Místnost byla funkční, ale to je o tom. Jedna noc byla snesitelná a snídaně byla průměrná i podle francouzského standardu. Určitě tu znovu nezůstaneme.

Previous mentions of parking worries - news to me. I drove there from England in my (much valued) BMW, parked outside. No problems at all. I needed a basic room for a few nights. Because of Covid rules, the room couldn't be cleaned so I kept it tidy. Like this is a problem? Breakfast in a carrier bag was nothing special but adequate. Other meals taken up in the Vercors, or evening meal in the room: food bought just down the road at Lidl. Not my first B%B hotel and it won't be my last.

Comfortable and great value for money. What made this special was the help the manager gave us when we had a problem with our motorcycle. Samir rang the local Triumph dealer, arranged to have a new tyre fitter later that day, brilliant!!. What could have been a nightmare was avoided by a caring approach. The staff as in all hotels can make or break them. I have met staff in hotels who by their attitude show they could not care less. This hotel was refreshingly different and along with the Opera Garden Hotel in Budapest were are the two best hotels we have stayed in in 8 weeks of travelling around Europe.
