Fantastic value for money at this hotel. Rooms usual basic ski hotel style, but comfy beds and great showers. Good location- we were there April and just managed to ski in/out (patchy icy snow so not good for beginners) I’m sure main season would be fine. There is a ski bus if needed but I think it’s not very frequent. The main plus about this hotel is the food. We went with low expectations and were really surprised. All the food was fantastic. From breakfast to evening meal. Make your own sandwiches/salad boxes at lunch time. Desserts were really good (especially the crème brûlée). They even had a raclette night! Drinks Ok. Beer, wine & hot/soft drinks available all the time Vin Chaud and pastries in the afternoons and then in the evenings a small selection of local spirits (gin, whisky, rum, vodka, get27, Malibu) and a cocktail of the day. Would definitely recommend and will return to this hotel.

We stayed for four nights, with three full days of skiing, at a hotel located at around 1,300m in Montalbert, a quieter area of La Plagne in a lower region but interlinked with a Gondala. One of the highlights was the ski-in/ski-out access. From the boot room, you could ski down a short bank to reach the gondola. That said, this section isn’t a groomed piste, so it’s not suitable for beginners. Skiing back to the hotel is similar—doable, but again not ideal for novices. However, you can easily walk the last 50 metres from a gentle green/blue run if needed. The hotel itself is very family-friendly, with genuinely warm and welcoming staff. Its south-facing position is perfect for enjoying afternoon sun on the terrace, where drinks and appetisers are served—definitely a highlight after a day on the slopes. Food was excellent throughout our stay. There was plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner, and the extended breakfast/brunch service until 1pm was a great touch. Guests can also make their own sandwiches for lunch, with bags and elastic bands provided—simple but very convenient. Drinks were good overall—the white wine was particularly enjoyable. The beer was decent, although served in 1/3 pints, which might surprise some British guests… so you may want to bring your own pint glass! We were scoping it out for a potential family trip and would happily return. The only slight drawback is the lack of activity outside the hotel. If you’re looking for a lively alpine town atmosphere, this may not be the place. There is a small selection of amenities—a pub, restaurant, and shop—at the bottom of the slope, but with the all-inclusive offering, we didn’t feel the need to go out. It’s also worth noting that accessibility can depend on the weather. Rooms were clean, well-maintained, and serviced daily. They include a safe, and the bathroom appeared newly refurbished, with a great hot shower. While some parts of the building (mainly the exterior and corridors) look a little dated, the rooms, dining areas, and bar feel much more modern—and realistically, you don’t spend much time in the corridors anyway. Overall, this was an excellent stay and fantastic value for money. We’d definitely consider returning, especially with family.

Although on the furthest edge of the ski area was nonetheless easy to get to and from the whole area, even getting to the Vanoisse Express in 65 minutes from first lift opening at 0900 hours. Ski in/out at rear of hotel but can be a bit icy for less experienced skiers. Ski/boot room very spacious with numbered racks for skis the same as bedroom number. No heated boot racks though however boots could be partially dried off on the towel rail in your bathroom. Very friendly staff throughout hotel and reception staff very helpful. Can't check in until 1600 hours however there is a luggage room to leave luggage and get changed for a half days skiing on arrival day. Bedroom was spotlessly clean and spacious with views onto the slopes at the rear. Comfortable enough bed . Super hot and powerful shower probably the best I have ever used on a ski holiday. Towels changed as often as you wish.Room cleaned every day. Only one English Channel . Good wi-fi in room. This was the first ever all inclusive ski holiday I have booked and was well worth it. The food was excellent and were spoilt for choice with evening buffet, even the wine was very palatable. Picnic facilities for lunch time were of a very good standard although probably best to bring your own plastic containers with firm lids as ones provided were not that secure. Cant fault anything about our stay and would thoroughly recommend.
