Best Western Hôtel des Orangers Cannes

Hotel má velmi dobrou polohu, kousek od pláže ale i od centra. V blízkosti lékárna, Aldi, restaurace atd. Bazén je pěkný, ale velmi málo místa kolem něj. Velice milý a ochotný personál. Pokoje čisté, ale velmi malé. Postele vynikající, velmi pohodlné.. Klimatizace fungovala dobře. Hotel má 4 hvězdy, ale v koupelně není šampon ani kondicionér a tělové mléko - toto je u hotelu této kategorie standard. Snídaně výborné včetně možnosti si udělat čerstvý pomerančový fresh džus.. jen ta míchaná vajíčka vůbec nebyly k jídlu. Celkově ale hotel mohu doporučit ve smyslu poměr-cena.

I was traveling for a conference, during which I was speaking on several panels and launching a new product for my startup. The conference is a big investment for us to come all the way from San Francisco. The hotel had great reviews and I booked 5 months in advance knowing how busy the season is. I arrived late at night and the first room I was in had an old air conditioner directly over the head of the bed. I woke up with a sinus infection and was quite sick, lost my voice. Moved to a new room with carpet that was really dirty (not the wood floors featured in the photos of the class of room I reserved), well that also made me feel sick and allergic with a scratchy throat and swelling. The people at the front desk ranged from lovely to blasse but obviously the dilapidated state of the hotel is not something they can address. This is not a 4 star hotel and the photo's of the terrace room was a total bait and switch (the room did not have a terrace at all, nor wood floors). I was not offered any accomodation or even basic sympathy that the hotel made me sick and detrimentally impacted my trip. The view from my room was beautiful but also right next to a very loud roadway, so hard to enjoy any fresh air. This is not the hotel for people who are sensitive to carpet, cats, or old air conditioning.

We come here regularly, and only here, twice a year. We wouldn't go elsewhere. Everything is here we need.

Location is great, literally less than 5 mins to old town and 10 to the old port. Parking was easy, even though the limited spots were taken in front of hotel, we found a space right next to the hotel as soon as we arrived. Staff was super friendly, upgraded us to a room with a terrace as we had a dog with us. Room itself was small but functional and clean, had a coffee machine and kettle. Bed was ok. Parts of the hotel could have done with a face-lift, but overall we had a decent experience for one night. Breakfast was not included in our rate, so can’t comment.
