Hotel Vendome

The hotel is excellently located, 5 minutes walk from the tram to the airport and about 15 minutes walk to the promenade in one direction and the train station in the other. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. We had a top floor room with a terrace which was a good size and comfortable.

Had such a fantastic stay , the hotel is in a great location for shopping, restaurants and the beach . It's very clean ,staff are polite and filtered water is free ! Would like to say a special thank you to Claudia who is so kind and helpful and absolute credit to the Hotel ! Can't wait for our next visit

Staff were excellent, very helpful and always available. My room was very clean and well appointed, e.g., new shower head in bathroom. Hotel is in great position, 2 minutes to tram stop to airport and 10 minutes to old town and beach. The problem is the noise in the hotel, there is no soundproofing whatsoever, The noise of the lift doors which were close to my room, the noise of guests in the corridors and in their rooms and air conditioning units was awful. I had disrupted sleep each night of my stay. For that reason alone I would not stay here again.

My husband and I booked a 4-night stay at Hotel Vendôme in Nice for our honeymoon, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed significant cleanliness and maintenance issues, including hair throughout the room, visible mold, spiders/insects, and stains or drips running down the walls. The condition of the room was far below what we expected based on the photos and reviews online. We reported the issues to the front desk immediately after check-in and asked for assistance. To the hotel's credit, they offered to move us to a different room. However, after inspecting the replacement room, we found that it also had cleanliness and maintenance concerns that made us uncomfortable staying there for four nights. We explained that this was not a matter of preference or wanting a more luxurious room, it was a matter of cleanliness and basic room condition. Despite this, the hotel refused to provide any refund and instead offered complimentary breakfast and a bottle of champagne. While that gesture may have been well-intentioned, it did not address the underlying issues with the accommodations. We documented everything with photos and videos and escalated the matter through our travel provider. As travelers who carefully researched where to stay in Nice, we were shocked by the condition of both rooms we were shown. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important for future guests to be aware of our experience. If cleanliness and room condition are important to you, I would strongly recommend looking at other options before booking this property.
