Villa Genesis

Byli jsme nesmírně šťastní, že jsme zde zůstali během naší dovolené v Mentonu. Nově otevřený hotel, vše je krásně zdobené a personál se stará o každý detail vašeho pobytu. V současné době je hostům k dispozici plavecký bazén, stále však existuje plán na otevření lázní a restaurace. Vila se nachází asi 15 minut chůze od centra města a pouličního přechodu mimo mořskou promenádu. Existují však restaurace a bary, které jsou již mnohem blíž, takže pokud se někdo cítí, nemusíte chodit až do města. Hodně jsme si užili skutečnost, že jsme byli v klidnějším sousedství. K dispozici je placené parkování, nabídka snídaně je dostačující, s velkým množstvím ovoce, pečiva, uzenin, sýrů. Pokud se vrátíme do Mentonu, určitě tu zůstaneme!

Nemám slova, jak úžasný je tento hotel! Všechno je prostě perfektní! Všechny pokoje jsou velmi pěkné a mají velmi pohodlné postele. Samotný hotel má ve všech kvalitách velmi vysokou kvalitu! Venkovní plocha je tak úžasná (v roce 2020 tam bude také restaurace, kterou mi řekli). Personál je velmi přátelský a servisně orientovaný! Velká plocha pro parkování aut. Vysoká bezpečnost. Super snídaně s nejlepšími produkty (myslí na všechny podrobnosti v tomto hotelu). Nejlepší hotel, jaký jsem kdy navštívil! ! !

We enjoyed a very comfortable early-season stay at Villa Genesis. The building and grounds offer a secluded and elegant experience, with friendly and attentive staff who provide restaurant recommendations in town and any other service requested. The pool was still closed, but would have been welcome as temperatures were already at summer level. We went for a swim from the pepple beach across the street instead. The old town is a brisk 15 minute walk or a few bus stops away. Don’t miss the «Sentier du Corbusier» ocean walk from the end of the bay in the other direction, where you can continue to the hilltop village of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and cemetery with his grave.

We recently completed a six day stay at this beautiful hotel. We very much enjoyed the pool, the breakfasts and the new restaurant which is on the hotel grounds. The hotel is walkable distance from much of Menton, although with the weather being so hot we did use Uber periodically. The staff was always relaxed, attentive and very professional. At one point we needed some assistance with a health matter and found the staff to be most helpful. We especially appreciated Anne-Violaine spending time to help with a language challenge as we communicated with a medical provider. We highly recommend Villa Genesis for a relaxed vacation and look forward to visiting again---maybe when it's not quite so hot!

I booked a room at this hotel over six months ago that included a balcony/terrace. The 635.00 euro room was confirmed to me. When we arrived we were greeted with an automatic upgrade from a deluxe privilege room to a junior suite. After noticing that we didn’t have the balcony/terrace and views over the swimming pool as promised, and in the new room, glimpses of the ocean only when standing, I approached the receptionist Simona, and told her I wasn’t happy with our room and would like the room that had been confirmed to us. She said this was not possible as they had upgraded us. When stating I had purposely booked a room with a balcony/terrace for us to enjoy, she said use the pool area. I said I wanted to do this from the comfort of the room I had been promised. There was an arrogance and rudeness I hadn't experienced from a receptionist before. I was shocked and disappointed. The arrogance and rudeness continued when I wrote to the manager of the hotel, stating my disappointment, and there has been no reply. The hotel is not in Menton old town, it is a 25 minute walk. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, I wish I had done my research better as there are much better hotels in Menton.
