Best hotel in the best area. We spent an amazing weekend thanks to the team at Le Grand Cayre. Room with a balcony made our stay. Breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. We had dinner in Annette and food was amazing. Gazpacho is a must try!! Definitely recommend!!!

Location and ambiance A beautiful and fascinating hotel in a superb position. Le Grand Hôtel Cayré stands as a testament to the seamless integration of history and contemporary sophistication. Nestled in the heart of the 7th arrondissement, the property recently underwent a transformative renovation that preserved its heritage while embracing modern design and technology. Service quality Most staff members welcomed guests in a professional and courteous manner. However, I chose to rate the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 due to a regrettable breakfast-service issue. Breakfast experience (room service) We ordered three days of room-service breakfast: orange juice, green detox, latte, café filtre, avocado toast with a poached egg, and scrambled eggs. After about seven minutes, we called to complain about overcooked eggs on the avocado and asked for a remake. The breakfast manager responded unfavorably, insisting that once the delivery at the door is accepted, the service is considered complete, even though the items were clearly kept warm and were not up to standard. This reply felt unprofessional and spoiled the experience, especially since guests can still enjoy the hotel’s atmosphere and dining venues while staying there. Resolution and takeaway We filed a formal complaint with the General Manager, Mrs. V. Baudet, who issued a letter of apology and addressed the errors. Overall, the Cayré's staff were helpful and professional during our stay, and the hotel remains a wonderful choice for a visit to Paris.
