Alila Ubud

We had a wonderful stay at the Alila. It’s one of the most stunning locations, with a beautiful pool area. Rooms are exactly what you would expect in the forest, authentic & very comfortable. The best part of staying here is the staff, food & the service, you cannot fault it! I’d come back in a heartbeat! Thank you to all at the hotel, it’s wonderful!

Surrounded by lush jungle and plenty of monkeys, which are very much part of the experience! The staff are lovely, friendly and always willing to help, from reception to the restaurants. The hotel is around 30 minutes from central Ubud, although the journey can take longer depending on traffic. The complimentary shuttle service is very convenient and makes getting into town easy. That said, I would have expected a little more from the overall experience, particularly in terms of activities, such as complimentary daily yoga classes, and a wider variety of dining options. A definite highlight was the breakfast, especially the coffee! The rooms, however, felt a little basic, and the bed could certainly have been more comfortable. I think they would benefit from some updating and refreshing, while of course preserving the traditional style and charm that suit the beautiful surroundings. Overall, a lovely stay in a spectacular setting, with wonderful staff, but a few improvements would really elevate the experience.

The place is amazing! Love the interior, room is neat and clean with lots of amenities provided. The foods are yummy yum yum! (You have to try Babi Guling pizza here! 🤌) with the serene atmosphere and hillside view completely relaxing! However, the part I love the most is the staff! They all so warm and lovely and I feel they do their absolute best to accommodate our needs! AND THEY ARE FUNNY! Shoutout to loveliest ibu Sri, also ibu Made and pak Agung, for making our dining experience incredible. Bli Agus and mbok Nanda for keeping our room spotless. Bli Surya and mbok Eva for making our check in very quick and smooth! Alila Ubud provided us the best hospitality! If youre considering Alila Ubud, I’d say you will have a wonderful stay (unless u hate those little and HUGE rascals aka the monkeys, don’t worry tho the security will keep you safe from them) 🙈 Matur Suksma to all the staff and I definitely would love to have another stay here! The hotel was exceptional. Beautiful jungle surroundings. Fantastic swimming pool and rooms with amazing views. The staff were so attentive and extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Alila Ubud was wonderful, definitely worth the visit! Everyone is so friendly and professional, especially Suarni from the reception and Nyoman, who picked us up from the airport (with a very nice and comfortable car, complimentary refreshing towel, water and cookies). The hotel is located in the jungle with nice views from every corner, especially the swimming pool. The food was delicious with a lot of variation. The room was very big and luxurious. There are so many activities you can do and there is a complimentary shuttle service to the city center. We really felt at home! Must stay ❤️
