Bali Beach Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Bali Beach Hotel, Sanur. The pool was definitely the standout feature, and the food was absolutely exceptional. Our favourite spot to dine was on the deck overlooking the beach in the evening—it was such a beautiful setting. The Meru Wellness Centre was also incredible—an amazing and truly special experience. The location is very convenient, just a 15-minute walk to the new Icon shopping mall. We couldn’t fault a thing—truly a lovely place to stay.

Overall, our stay at Bali Beach Hotel Sanur was pleasant, with several highlights but also some disappointments. The room was beautifully presented & comfortable; however, we experienced three power outages during our four-night stay. The pillows were quite flat & uncomfortable, and with only two elevators operating, wait times during peak periods such as breakfast & dinner were extremely slow. Dining at Roso Restaurant was excellent, with great food & service. Unfortunately, our experience at Arunika was below expectations—guests who arrived after us were served first, plates were not cleared between courses, & drink service was slow despite the restaurant not being busy. A special mention to Kevin & the pool bar team, who were fantastic. Their service, cocktails, & friendly attitude greatly enhanced our stay. The most disappointing part of our visit was the hotel’s tour booking service. We booked a 3-point snorkelling tour to Nusa Penida through the hotel, & it was significantly overpriced, poorly communicated, & not as represented. We effectively paid for two separate drivers—one for a five-minute trip to the ferry terminal that we could have walked, & another on Nusa Penida for very short transfers, neither of which was properly explained. Communication was poor throughout. We were not told the tour company’s name, why our photo was taken by the first driver, or that another driver would be meeting us on arrival, leaving us confused & uncomfortable. While the snorkelling itself was enjoyable, the rest of the itinerary was disappointing. Instead of lunch being provided after the tour as implied, we were taken to a separate resort & expected to spend over three hours there for a poor set-menu lunch. This was not what we believed we had paid for & felt like a waste of valuable holiday time. We arranged our own earlier ferry back. When this feedback was raised with Ramona, the response was dismissive & unhelpful. For the premium price charged, this experience was extremely disappointing & not something we would recommend. The spa treatments were beautiful, & the pool & grounds were consistently clean & well maintained.

This is the best hotel location in Sanur. The pool is beyond huge and you never have to wait for a bed. The staff are wonderful and cannot help you enough. The hotel is very clean. And if you are lucky enough to have a massage, the hotel spa has the wow factor! Breakfast is another level!!! All the staff are just wonderful, Ngardika looks after you, and is so helpful. We will be back!

I stayed in Bali Beach Hotel from 5-10 April 2026. My room was not ready past 3:00 pm even though the official check-in time is 3:00 pm which was quite inconvenient. The hotel grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained. There is plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the surroundings, with lush greenery and direct access to the beachfront. The facilities are also top-notch, including a well-equipped fitness centre and complimentary yoga sessions, which added a refreshing and wellness-focused element to the stay. The room was another strong point. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities provided. I particularly appreciated the twice-daily housekeeping service, which kept the room in excellent condition throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet spread at Roso Restaurant was impressive, offering a wide variety of local Balinese dishes, and international options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the service was excellent. The staffs were attentive without being intrusive. I’m unable to comment on the value for money, as my stay was covered by my company.
