Bali Beach Hotel

We will definitely be returning! We thought it would be a nice resort from the pictures, however the reality exceeded anything we were expecting. The building and decor is very luxurious and well maintained. It is spotlessly clean and the amenities are great. Great value for money. We had a package deal and the amount and variety of food available to eat was impressive. The wellness and Spa within the resort is tremendous. Possibly the best massage I have ever had! But I have to say the biggest impact that we all took away from our stay, is the staff. They are magnificent. So friendly and helpful. There was never a time when they weren’t smiling and happy to assist us. They made our stay memorable.

– Mixed Stay With One Deeply Disappointing IncidentI stayed at Bali Beach Hotel Sanur for four nights in a full sea‑view room. The hotel itself is very large, and it’s quite a long walk from the drop‑off point to the reception and then again to the rooms. The reception staff were friendly, though very focused on upselling during check‑in.The room was a fair size, with a nice firm bed, but the chair was uncomfortable and there wasn’t much shelve space for unpacking. The bathroom was very small, with no proper hanging space for towels, and still using old tap mixers and soap bars. The rain shower was pleasant, though the water pressure was only average. The balcony, however, was fantastic — spacious with a beautiful ocean view.During my stay, one of the lifts was out of order for three days, leaving only two working lifts. This meant long waiting times every time I needed to go up or down. Breakfast was okay but nothing special, and service was inconsistent — I often had to ask staff to clear tables. Restaurant service was better, and I want to mention Edi, who took great care of us.Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by an incident on the third day. On my way to the pool, a security guard stopped me and asked whether I was staying at the hotel. After I said yes, he then asked for my room number. I noticed that no Caucasian guests were stopped or questioned in the same way. Being singled out because of my skin colour left a sour taste and made me feel unwelcome and humiliated.This was especially disappointing because this trip was my first holiday after a year of cancer treatment. I had just come from a 5‑star resort in Lombok where I received exceptional, warm, and respectful service. The contrast was stark.Bali Beach Hotel Sanur has some lovely features — the view, the balcony, and certain staff members — but the combination of outdated facilities, inconsistent service, and the racial profiling incident made my stay far less enjoyable than it should have been.

Location facing the sea is beautiful. The atmosphere was modern minimalist in the style of Mona Gallery .The entrance is truly impressive . The staff facilitate a super quick and friendly Balinese check in . The people in Bali are beautiful- do not forget to be very kind in turn . The rooms have everything required . The poolside restaurant has delicious food . Try the local tuna - cooked to your perfection. Breakfast is bustling - more in the style of a city hotel . There are plenty of Indian food options. The pool is enormous enough that you feel you have to yourself , and the breeze from the beach is divine. Excellent location on Sanur beach which thankfully still has a local presence with local businesses unlike Nusa Dua. Enjoy while you can as there is massive development happening which will lock out local businesses further sadly .

Stayed at Bali Beach Hotel (The Heritage Collection) Sanur. A magic experience. The facility was top class. our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Food was great. Staff were incredible. So friendly and accommodating. Nothing was a trouble. Definitely looking to return.

If you are visiting Bali, try locating on the Sanur beach and stay at the Bali Beach heritage hotel. Superb location, great food and services and well appointed seaview rooms. Plenty to do along the beach side walk way and the Icon Mall is nearby. Prices are not cheap but value is what you get.
