The Meru Sanur

Our recent stay at The Meru Sanur was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the resort’s stunning architecture, elegant design, and the sense of tranquillity that surrounds the entire property. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between luxury and comfort, creating an atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of your stay. Our room was absolutely amazing. It was spacious, beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. The attention to detail throughout the room reflected the high standards that The Meru Sanur clearly prides itself on. Waking up each morning to such a beautiful setting truly enhanced our holiday experience. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Quite simply, it was superb. The selection was extensive, catering to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences, with both local and international options available. Everything was fresh, well-presented, and consistently delicious. Breakfast became something we genuinely looked forward to each day. What truly sets The Meru Sanur apart, however, is its people. The staff throughout the resort were warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating. Their hospitality felt sincere rather than scripted, which made a significant difference to our overall experience. A special mention must go to Grace from the Resort Ambassador team. Grace was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always willing to assist whenever needed. Her professionalism and genuine care for guests made us feel valued throughout our stay. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Yona at the restaurant. Despite what was often a very busy service, Yona always managed to find time to stop by for a friendly chat, share a laugh, and make us feel at home. What stood out most was his genuine interest in people. He was always willing to listen to our stories and engage in conversation, which added a personal touch that is becoming increasingly rare in hospitality today. His warmth, kindness, and natural ability to connect with guests made every dining experience even more enjoyable. Speaking of dining, the restaurant team as a whole deserves recognition. From the service to the quality of the food, everything was consistently on point. Every meal was well prepared, beautifully presented, and delivered with excellent service. The entire team worked seamlessly together, creating an enjoyable and relaxed dining atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, offering plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The swimming pool area is equally impressive and provides a lovely setting to relax. If I were to offer one small piece of constructive feedback, it would be regarding the main swimming pool at The Meru. During our stay, the pool area felt somewhat quiet at times, and while this may appeal to guests seeking complete serenity, a little more atmosphere could further enhance the experience. This is, however, a very minor observation and certainly did not detract from our overall enjoyment. What impressed us most about The Meru Sanur was the combination of world-class facilities and genuinely heartfelt hospitality. Luxury hotels can often provide beautiful rooms and excellent amenities, but it is the people who create lasting memories. The team at The Meru Sanur understands this perfectly. Their warmth, professionalism, and dedication to guest satisfaction are what truly make this resort stand out. We left with wonderful memories, having enjoyed not only a beautiful resort but also meaningful interactions with people who clearly take pride in what they do. We would not hesitate to return and would gladly recommend The Meru Sanur to anyone seeking a luxurious, relaxing, and memorable stay in Bali. Aery at the ambassators section was great and friendly and very professional. She does have great customer service and goes out of her way to assist and make the guest feel at home. Highly recommend her gor her work ethic. Great staff member. One of the best we have experienced in Bali.

Great location, stunning property with easy access to the beach and the Icon shopping mall. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Everything was well maintained and clean.

I had an incredible stay at the Bali Beach Hotel and The Meru Sanur. The properties offer breathtaking hotel views, convenient facilities, and top-notch service. If I ever find myself back in Sanur, I will definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation. ​A special highlight of my stay was the photo session activity. I usually feel quite awkward and self-conscious in front of the camera, but the photographer, Fazar, was an absolute professional. He made me feel completely at ease and managed to capture so many natural, candid moments. Thanks to him, I now have wonderful photos to look back on. It was truly the best experience.
