Albergo San Marco

We stayed at the Hotel San Marco Albergo in Venice, Italy, and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The location was incredible, just off San Marco Square and close to St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. The Bell Tower and Café Florian were also within a short five-minute walk. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. When we discovered that the Venice Port was actually in Ravenna, more than 2.5 hours away, Marco was exceptional in putting together a travel package that got us to the NCL terminal in a timely and stress-free way. If we return for a second visit to Venice, we would certainly stay here again. This hotel is an incredible gem in an exceptional location.

Wow!! This hotel was perfect in every way! Amazing location one minute from San Marco square. Room was great with good AC! Easily accessible to water taxis. Front desk staff super friendly and helpful! Price was amazing as well! I would definitely return.

Very comfortable, great bed, great overall stay. Bar is awesome for afternoon aperitif. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Terrific location. Thanks for a great stay!

We were really surprised by our room in all of the best ways! We had booked a suite for 3 and our son had his own little private area with a bed. The terrace was huge with a bistro set and a view of St Mark's Campanile in San Marco. We enjoyed wine out there in the evenings. Everything was very clean. The window in the bathroom and bedroom could open. Just remember to close the shutters at night so they don’t wake you with the wind! AC and water pressure were both great. Shower was huge. Breakfast was included which was at times busy and had just an ok selection. The location of the hotel was unbeatable. It was steps away from San Marco, a grocery store and many shops and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Wonderful hotel. Even though this hotel needs a little updating in parts, its staff are lovely and beyond helpful. They are accommodating and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and they made our stay a pleasant experience. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Venice for its location and its hospitality.
