Arco Antico

Pokud jde o hotely v Benátkách - správné, je to jedna z cenově dostupnějších možností. Má skvělou polohu nedaleko Canal Grande a Ponte di Rialto. Je to určitě přístupné vodním taxi nebo autobusem z letiště, což je skvělý způsob, jak se dostat do Benátek! Je to trochu těžké najít, ale jeho malý hotel s omezenými pokoji. Personál je dostatečně přátelský, aby mohl ubytovat pozdní check - in a pomůže vám prozkoumat město. Navíc byla snídaně docela dobrá! Myslela jsem, že postele jsou pohodlné a klíče pokoje jsou skutečné klíče, které jim mají velký historický pocit haha. Opět, tento hotel je ve starém historickém městě, takže nečekejte velké místnosti nebo postele. Také výtahy nebyly konceptem, kdy byla Benátka postavena, takže každý, kdo očekává, že bude zklamán. (Zmiňuji to jen proto, že rychlý pohled na hotelové recenze v Benátkách ukazuje, že lidé jsou skutečně rozčileni kvůli nedostatku moderního hotelového vybavení, který se nachází v Severní Americe).

I'm pretty easy going with it comes to places to stay. It needs to be clean, and I need to be able to breathe air. It was clean, but for at least half of my stay, I was overpowered by someone in the room next to me either smoking or vaping. It was so bad that I started to have problems with my asthma. I told the manager or owner about the problem, and no steps were taken to try and prevent it. He actually became visible annoyed when I brought it to his attention. This is NOT a smoke free establishment. Putting signs up does no good if you have no plan to enforce the no smoking policy. Additionally, the staff is often not there. No one is there at night and most of the weekend. The staff was otherwise nice, but if you can't breathe, what good does that do?

The hotel is tucked into one of the smaller streets of Venice. The place is very convenient as it is Very near the Rialto Bridge. The Host were wonderful and helped us get around and plan out sight seeing by giving suggestions of the main places to visit. The rooms are well maintained and had a rustic look to them. Very comfy with all basic amenities. We had to leave Venice early, and the staff packed a small breakfast of buns butter and nuttella. All in all will definitely reccomend!

Great location. Lots of getting lost to find it first, but that's part of the charm of Venice! Clean room and friendly staff. The breakfast was a little limited but otherwise everything was very good. The man on the desk booked us tickets for a concert so was very helpful.

Arco Antico Guest House (formerly Ca' Arco Antico) was recommended in a New York Times travel article as an inexpensive family-friendly hotel. We stayed for nearly a week and found it to be a very pleasant place to stay. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. As with nearly any address in Venice, you'll need to follow the directions very carefully. If you take a water taxi, the hotel is only 50 meters from the dock, but if you walk from the closest vaparetto stop, it's can be complicated the first time. Don't be afraid to ask for help from locals. The rooms are furnished in classic Venetian style with very large rooms. There may be a few rooms with a narrow view of the canal, but this is not a major feature of this hotel. All in all, the Arco Antico is a solid moderately priced family-friendly hotel in a very nice neighborhood very near the Rialto.
