Camping Spiaggia e Mare

Staff friendly on arrival. Gave us a map of the site and directed us to our home (bungalow) for the week. The only reason I haven't rated 5 stars is due to having 'one hour of free wifi' only. After that, you had to pay €20 for *each* device. Ouch! The signal was also poor. We stayed in the Bungalow Superior. Now - my only negative with the bungalow up front. There was no path directly to our Bungalow (others were paved) & there were small, really spikey plants in the grass. They stuck to *everything*, even the bottom of our shoes and hurt a lot if they caught your skin, so beware! No bare feet!! The bungalow was nice - suitable amenities for self catering. A dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer. Even a small welcome pack of washing up liquid, cloths for cleaning & a dishwasher tablet. There were also 2 bottles of water in the fridge on arrival. An airer is also supplied to dry laundry. There's also mosquito nets over all the windows (thank goodness!!) AC was good, however it seemed more efficient in the main space and room with 2 single beds than the double. Both shower rooms were nice & spacious. There's an onsite shop that sells a fantastic range of goods - beach stuff, swimming costumes/floats, food, drinks, books/activities, etc. and of course all your essentials, so something for everyone! Coins for the laundry facilities can be purchased from the shop too. The laundry is self service & can be a bit awkward to time around other guests, but again, is fine. There are recycling & general waste bins available on site to dispose of your rubbish. The beach is beautiful, open and clean. The cafe there was nice. A good range of food - a few sandwiches, chips, cold drinks including mocktails and alcohol. It could get busy but most of the time there were seats available. Swimming pool was also clean, nice and accessible with a deeper and more shallow area. There's a splashpark for younger children. The onsite restaurant was also nice. Staff again seemed friendly and attentive. Good range of food on offer (pizza, seafood, burgers, pasta, etc.) again, something for everyone. Just next door was a place to buy ice cream too, a lovely treat after dinner. There's a small arcade, quite a few of the machines were broken however, but it was still fine. One thing I will say is - *pack mosquito repellant* you'll need it if you're like me!! The only thing I can't really comment on is transport as we had our own car & drove to various locations, so not sure what public transport is like to and from the site. However, all in all, a beautiful place to stay. A good site that is safe, clean and wonderful to stay. I hope I can visit again one day. :)

Absolutely amazing place for the kids. We stayed in Safari tent from Gusto Camp and I can not say anything else than to highlirecommend it! Peter and Anita were lovely, friendly and smiling all the time, ready to help any time. There are tobogans, kid's pool, water playing ground in the camp. The regular kid's playing ground is located next to the restaurant so you can enjoy your meal as parents. The sea can not be more convenient for the kids. We were not afraid at all to let the kids playing in the sea and stay on the beach as there is really small water long way. Also the cleanlines of bathrooms+washing places was more than perfect. Just one minus I would mention is the water in the pool. It took short time from the morning when it startes to smell from urine and also the water purity in the pool was not on high level. Overall experience are P E R F E C T!!!!

We stayed at the camping almost two weeks first half of July 2022. I need to say one thing - this is the best camping we have visited (and we have already quite big experience). Despite the Spiaggia e Mare has 3 stars i am surprised it does not have more. It deserves more! Advantages: 1. Distance to the clean beach (cleaned every morning) - located directly on the seaside with a direct access to big beach. Beach itself is not crowdy, a lot of space! Water in the sea perfect for small children - it's shallow, you need to go ca 50 m more into the sea in order to enjoy more deep water. 2. Waterpark - great one for small children, another one with two deeps - 1.2m and 1.7m - big enough for a fun! You can really enjoy jumps(which is not the case in other campsites), swimming snorkling, playing, etc! 3. Accomodation - big variety of different accomodations. We stayed in Mobile Home Avantgarda - main street of the campsite, 100 m from the beach. Almost everything inside - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, big terrace. What was missing and i would be keen to have - microwave (but it was not a must for us) 4. Restaurant - main one - reach menu (pastas, great pizza, sea food, etc) in really attractive prices. Beach bar - great for a lunch with big variety of food and drinks! 5. Personel - very friendly and helpful. Reception or restaurant - always served quite quick! 6. Animations - everyday different ones and what is important - in different languages (i could hear italian, english, a bit german and polish) - great offer to the foreigners from different countries! 7. Price - very attractive price compared to what they offer! Disadvantages: If i have to find any - small mistakes in the restaurant (pizza ordered with onions received without onions, ordered ketchup, received mayo, ordered french fries- one time received without them. After raising a friendly claim received single ones - all those i can forgive and forget knowing how many people they have to serve - small mistakes can happen to everybody). Another one i would say was with bedlinen - we arrived in 4 and received enough bedlinen for 2 people only. After asking for more, received them within a couple of minutes. And what is important - there is no problem with mosquitos as i read in other comments - they are everywhere and it was not painful at Spiaggia e Mare. I visited more campsites where it was a disaster, it is not the case there (mobile homes have mosquito net). All in All - great campsite i can recommend to everybody! For sure i will come again!

We stayed in a 2 bed Comfort with Eurocamp for 9 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was quite small so would go bigger next time. Just about fitted our double pram in and had to take furniture out of the mobile and leave on the decking. Decking area is quite big which is a bonus to your accommodation. Spiaggia e Mare is a very well maintained holiday park with a waterpark and large swimming pool and baby pool. The waterpark is 20e per person over the age of 4 for the duration of your stay which is a bit expensive and unnecessary especially if you have kids over 4 and a big family. It is enjoyable though. The restaurant is really good and reasonably priced. The pizzas a fabulous and most dishes we tried would recommend apart from the lasagne. We thought this maybe had been a one off but our friends ordered it too and it was just slop on the plate. It was like eating pureed baby food, the consistency was dreadful. Very disappointing considering its a signature italian dish. Some of the staff, one waiter in particular was just obnoxiously rude and arrogant and I've no idea how he was given a job in customer service. There is a decent playground right next to the restaurant where you can keep an eye on your little ones. Across from the playground and restaurant is the entertainment area. I'm not sure if it is because we arrived early June but the entertainment/animation program we felt was quite poor. There was a disco on for the kids at 8pm one night of face painting and disco on the beach but there was not much else for the kids to do during the day which we thought there would be a proper kids club as advertised. Again, this could have been because we were early in the season so can't be sure it's like that for the rest of the summer. Spiaggia backs onto a lovely beach. Sunbeds and parasols are expansive to rent every day, 14 to 20 euros I think it was. Nice beach bar for beers and cocktails, there is food, its just basic paninis and hotdogs, nothing to write home about and a bit overpriced for quality. There are alot of mosquitos in the resort and I was badly bitten where the bites turned purple. This can't be helped but there should be more repellents in place especially around rhe restaurant area, one night in particular everyone was slapping mossies away while eating dinner. There is also an onsite supermarket which has everything you need and a bakery that has queue outside from early morning for beautiful breads and pastries. Porto Garibaldi is a town about 10, 15 mins walk from the resort itself. We walked down to buy baby formula and its pretty run down. There are a good few restaurants, we didn't try so can't recommend but maybe the area could be explored better. Italy is just beautiful, we had a great time at Spaiggia, its a well kept, well maintained resort but there is not really much that would tempt me back here unfortunately.

we stayed in one of their purpose built lodges, literally 2 mins from the sea and 3 mins from the excellent pool. Entertainment is excellent, tidy, well maintained site. Hats off to the owners and the pools are just great for all ages and not too busy. Beach and sea are warm and clean. Nice bar and beach bar. close to town. only negative was the hire bikes - poorly maintained. Warning - there are quite a few mosquitoes at this site so come well prepared with repellent and plug ins etc.
