Charlie in Pesaro

I really liked this hotel but it wouldn’t take much for me to rate it 5 stars. It’s the little things. We were part of a group and our rooms were on the simpler end..no balconies or views but they were well laid out; had excellent air con and good technology. The hotel website says that rooms have USB plugs. There were none in my room. You have to be careful to close your door or it can be partially open. A second pull solves this. The pool area is lovely ; the bar staff there very nice and the breakfast outstanding. Housekeeping was inconsistent. On my first day I had to ask for toilet paper and a bath mat. The rooms have a great wee box of amenities like makeup pads; hair ties ; shower caps etc. But these aren’t refilled daily. I got sick of asking at reception every day and bought my own supply of makeup pads. The hotel advertises both on its website and in the left the 6 th bar and restaurant. But it’s not open. It’s interesting as recent reviews comment on it both positively and negatively (noise for the latter ). After asking we were told that it’s NOT open during summer due to noise and in winter they don’t put people on the 5th floor so they do not receive noise complaints. It seems really strange to promote something and then not offer it. However one day the pool bat staff had to leave early for a private function on the 6th floor. So us plebs couldn’t drink by the pool and in fact they closed the pool so we couldn’t swim. There is a nice bar /restaurant next door with a walk through from the hotel but no charge back facilities. The lobby is so well decorated and feels like a comfortable modern lounge. Overall with the location: room design and pool area this is a great hotel and I wouldn’t discount it but I would shop around if I were to return to Pescara,

Whilst this is a very good seaside hotel with nice sea views and centrally located, we cannot rate this hotel highly due to the noise from the loud roof top bar until 2am each morning which kept us annoyingly awake. So don't stay here if you want peace and quiet because you won't get that here.

Just adding to the other excellent reviews. Firstly amazing value, got a lot for your money. Staff friendly & helpful throughout our stay, nothing too much trouble. Umbrella for the rain, FREE bike hire for the great cycle paths through town & along the seafront. Special mention to Zoran & Marco both friendly & attentive. Decent continental breakfast, real coffee offered, lots of options. Evening meal was from a small menu & not a buffet. Mostly very tasty, pasta dishes & fish. If I had to be picky more vegetables with meals would have been appreciated, Great location right in the seafront but not too far from town centre. Room small but everything we needed. Excellent spacious & super comfy bed, very big shower, plenty of drawers & hanging space. Techy lighting system & used our key card to operate the lifts. Hotel refurbished to a high standard. Downstairs, big reception area, lots of nice seating, & ambient lighting. Attached cafe/ restaurant downstairs was very pretty & handy. Had a cocktail most nights in the rooftop bar, with great views over the sea, not so lucky re the weather but enjoyed watching the lightening over the sea at night. Struggling to find any negatives, thoroughly enjoyable 4 day break.

Fantastic hotel. Located opposite beach. Staff so helpful. Even found a kettle for us! Bed really comfy with amazing walk in shower. Sheets and towels changed daily. We went half board and the evening meals were not great. Loads of places to eat around hotel Fully recommend

Thank you to Marco and his fabulous team for making our stay at Hotel Charlie Pesaro such a relaxing break. Great nights sleep as quality bed mattress and bedding used and a fantastic shower and towels that dried you! Silent windows choice of lighting and plenty of space to move hang items and storage were a bonus and balcony to watch the sea and life go by. Nothing was ever a problem and breakfast choice vast. However we recommend the Botanic bar/restaurant attached to the hotel for evening eats. We will be back for sure and soon.
