Hotel Stella D'Oro

I can not say anything bad from this hotel. Location is great. Easy to find with GPS. Parking place until you check in/out than you have the possibility to park in a closed parking place. 300 m away, but it is completely ok for me, until my car is in a safe place. Staff is super nice and friendly. 10/10 Room is exactly as it is on booking photos, no cheating there. Enough space, clean, comfy bed, perfect air conditioning. Fridge, big tv, enough socket to charge your devices, properly working wifi. Bathroom is spacey, well-sized shower. 10/10 Breakfast perfect for children and adults. 10/10

We didn’t even stay a full day and left for another hotel. The manager accused us of not paying our bill despite us having email proof. First, they claimed they didn’t receive our deposit but acknowledged the rest was paid. Then, they changed their story, saying we hadn’t paid anything. She repeatedly demanded to see our bank statements, even after we showed proof of payment. She kept accusing us of scamming them and repeatedly tried to make us feel guilty. She was aggressive and yelled at us rather than trying to understand what the mishap was. When we decided to leave, they threatened to call the police for non-payment. As out-of-towners, this was terrifying. To avoid further conflict, we were forced to pay double the cost. What a scam! As two young girls traveling from out of the country, this was a horrific and traumatizing experience. Please beware, as no one should go through this awful experience. Do not stay here!!! P.S We asked for extra towels and the same manager came to “check our room” for the towels and then said she was going to charge us for the extras! What a disgrace!

A great hotel in a lovely potion, close to a beautiful beach. The staff are all welcoming, and could not do enough to ensure we had a fabulous break. Lots of recommendations for getting around, local attractions and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed. We would definately recommend 👌 Denise & Tracy (UK)

Unfortunately, we only needed one nights accommodation but this hotel made it an excellent place to spend it. It is family run and it shows as everybody from top to bottom really cares about you having a great time. We took a room at the front which had a large balcony and beautiful views over the marina and beach. It made a wonderful place to spend time in the morning and in the evening to take in views in the street below. It was also very comfortable indeed. You got absolutely everything you wanted for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The bathroom was big, the bed very comfortable and the air conditioning was appreciated. Breakfast is a buffet style served by the owner which worked well and was full of quality ingredients. A great variety of hot and cold dishes with great coffee from the impressive machine. Wi-Fi is free for unlimited devices, reaches all areas of the hotel and was very fast indeed. A terrific hotel that is so friendly and extremely well run.

We discovered this hotel last year and as I said in my previous review it's wonderful. This year we came altogether (me, my wife, son and my mum) for two weeks of well-earned rest and relax. The weather as always was wonderful. The hotel rooms always very well kept. The pleasant surprise was the solarium that they have added to the top floor... really nice for evening chillout or for pre-lunch "aperitivo". Also, all the outside furniture has been renewed and is too very nice. The food is as always delicious, lots of variety (in 2 weeks we hardly ever had something of the same, and in any case was a free choice to have the same on those two occasions). All the recipes are handmade with local and excellent ingredients. There is such a selection of different food, that even kids can't find excuses for not eating. Very well done! The hospitality is always great, very kind, helpful and understanding of family needs. Always going out of their way to suggest things to do and find solutions to day trips. I can definitely say wholeheartedly that this is a wonderful family run hotel in a beautiful Italian seaside location (ideal for families with children).
