Hotel Continental

Roztomilý hotel s krásnou atmosférou v milém a malém místě Nago nad jezerem Lago di Garda. Personál ochotný, pokoje moc hezké. Výhledy z oken ať k jezeru, které vidíte jen kousíček, nebo na skály a vinice je nádherný. Bazén je 20 metrů od hotelu, jde se k němu roztomilou stezkou a najednou se pod letitými olivovníky objeví krásný bazén s malým barem, trávníkem pod momunetálními skalami. Má to prostě svého ducha. V hotelu stále něco nabízejí, buď ovoce u bazénu, nebo drinky na ochutnání. Jídelna je prostorná. Půjčují kola i elektrokola. Hotel má podzemní garáže pro auta. Je vyhledáván zejména cyklisty a motocyklisty, protože je idální základnou pro vyjížďky. Kdo se chce koupat nebo surfovat, měl by blíže k jezeru. Takhle by to bylo na dojíždění, i když dolů vede z Naga do Torbole krásná Via Europa, stará římská cesta, po níž projít se je zážitek. A netrvá to dlouho. Tak 3é minut.

We have just spent a week here. From start to finish it was fantastic! The area is so beautiful views of the lake and mountains stunning. The hotel is perfect clean with delicious food and two lovely swimming pools one indoor one outdoor. The staff in this hotel are everything one could ever ask for. Polite funny and very friendly. Would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a visit to Lake Garda

Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing break at this hotel; a peaceful haven away from the lake. Although the rooms are perhaps slightly basically furnished, they are up to date, modern and very clean. We liked both the indoor and outdoor pool areas and the bar areas. ALL of the staff that we met were friendly, helpful and polite, with special mention to Arianna in the restaurant in the evening, such a lovely lady, Rosana the breakfast cook who was always so cheerful and welcoming despite being super busy; Michealangelo who runs the bar; and Vivetta who serves at the bar and Sayed who drives the mini bus down to Torbole; down at 9 and 10 and back at 4. Local buses to Torbole and Riva are a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast was plentiful, and we are already missing the donuts. You chose your evening meal at breakfast, all very straightforward and the food was of a very good standard. There was a good mix of client ages and nationalities and we met people from Italy, Germany, Austria and France. The local village is small but there is a little supermarket, pharmacy, bike rental and a number of bars and restaurants (including an Indian!). A nice walk from the village down to Torbole through vineyards and olive groves, some owned by the owners (Tonelli) of the hotel; took us about 45 minutes at a relaxed/slow pace. Would we go back? Yes, absolutely.

This hotel is friendly, clean and provides a very comfortable base to explore the towns around the northern part of the lake. We loved the area, that there was a breeze and that there was so much to watch while walking along the lakeside or sitting enjoying the views. Quieter than nearby Limone and Malcesine, we found Nago- Torbole a lovely, peaceful place to stay. There are buses five minutes away from the hotel but they aren’t very reliable. The shuttle bus is bang on time but our only criticism is that the bus doesn’t run frequently enough for a hotel that is out of town. We found ourselves ending our days out earlier than we’d have liked in order to get the four pm bus back to the hotel. Having said that, it was quite nice to come back and swim or relax before drinks and dinner. Everything else about the hotel is five star. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly and eager to please. The reception staff are so helpful and kind. The shuttle bus driver was really lovely and offered tips on places to go and how to get where we wanted to be. The cleanliness of the hotel from rooms, to lifts, to pool, to restaurant couldn’t be faulted. Everywhere was sparkling! The pool is quiet but still family friendly and a beautiful place to relax and swim after a day exploring. We didn’t really visit the indoor pool but it is clean and looked lovely for a bad weather day! A few evenings offered live music and there were also two free aperitif and finger food events which we really enjoyed. The food was varied with lots to choose from and the breakfasts catered for all tastes from cake to eggs and bacon. We would most definitely return to this friendly, brilliantly run, comfortable hotel. We loved our stay. Thank you to all the staff who made it so enjoyable.
