Hotel Continental

Roztomilý hotel s krásnou atmosférou v milém a malém místě Nago nad jezerem Lago di Garda. Personál ochotný, pokoje moc hezké. Výhledy z oken ať k jezeru, které vidíte jen kousíček, nebo na skály a vinice je nádherný. Bazén je 20 metrů od hotelu, jde se k němu roztomilou stezkou a najednou se pod letitými olivovníky objeví krásný bazén s malým barem, trávníkem pod momunetálními skalami. Má to prostě svého ducha. V hotelu stále něco nabízejí, buď ovoce u bazénu, nebo drinky na ochutnání. Jídelna je prostorná. Půjčují kola i elektrokola. Hotel má podzemní garáže pro auta. Je vyhledáván zejména cyklisty a motocyklisty, protože je idální základnou pro vyjížďky. Kdo se chce koupat nebo surfovat, měl by blíže k jezeru. Takhle by to bylo na dojíždění, i když dolů vede z Naga do Torbole krásná Via Europa, stará římská cesta, po níž projít se je zážitek. A netrvá to dlouho. Tak 3é minut.

We have just returned from a fantastic 10 days at Hotel Continental. The hotel is in Nago, a small village 30 minutes walk from the lakeside town of Torbole. The village of Nago is very quiet with fantastic views of the mountains around it. The village has a small supermarket, a few bars and a fantastic gelato shop. You can take the bus down to Torbole, the hotel shuttlebus also does 2 trips down at 9am or 10am or you can take a 30-40 minute walk down along an old roman road. The buses in the Trentino area ( includes Torbole and Riva) are free if you download the Trentino app. Ask for details at Reception when you check in. The buses can be delayed but we alwalys managed to get one. The hotel itself was just perfect for our needs. The rooms are an adequate size, nicely decorated and very clean. You are given towels for the pool, a robe and slippers. The pool area is very pleasant and has a pool bar. You use your room card to add all food and drinks to your room and can pay daily at reception or pay your room bill at the end of your stay. The food was good. We particulaly like the choice at breakfast. There was a good choice of cold meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, cereal, fruit etc. Hot foods such as egg, bacon and beans and then you can have pancakes and omelettes made fresh. Dinner is a four course affair. Starter is a buffet bar of cold and a few hot choices. Then a pasta/ rissotto/ soup course. Main then dessert. You definitely will not go hungry and the food is fresh. They have happy hour at the bar from 5pm to 6 each day. This includes a numer of spritzes, beers and some shorts. You then get bar snacks with your drink. There is entertainemnt a few nights of weeks and pre drinks and a buffet ( which is free) 2 nights a week also. Finally, a special mention about all of the bar and restaurant staff who are incredibly hard working, friendly and have a fantastic sense of humour. There is a tip box as you enter the restaurant if you want to show your gratitude. All in all we had a fabulous time at the hotel and I would definitely return.

Great helpful friendly accomodating staff. Good facilities, good food, shuttle bus service down to Torbole and lake is more reliable than local bus services which are free with guest pass Trentino area. Definitely recommend for a quieter alternative to a busy noisy lakeside hotel.

Lovely quiet location. Friendly atmosphere with staff also very helpful. Rooms are cleaned everyday, supplied with robes, slippers, towels, pool towels and a pool bag. Swimming pools two, the pool outside leads from an olive tree path (opens to a little oasis!). Nice indoor pool. Outdoor Pool bar for refreshments and snacks which you tap your room key card and pay end of stay. Hotel provides a courtesy mini bus to Torbole at 9 am and 10 am. Return is 4pm only. If you miss this there is the 332 local bus service (bus stop opposite near garage in Torbole), which goes to Nago bus stop (after roundabout in Nago for hotel). Hotel entertainment 3x in week. Food good, however, breakfast good choice, but the hot breakfast selection could be a tad hotter (only warm). You keep your same table all week for breakfast and evening meals, saves a scramble for a table on a morning and evening which we liked about this. You also choose your evening meal at breakfast and there is a great salad choice buffet. Staff help you on your first night as you won’t have chosen, they give you the menu, choose and rest is sorted out. A lovely stay and a good base for visiting Cascada waterfall again by bus change in Riva get line 1 (red) going then line 2 (green) back , Limone, Malcesine, Riva (by boat trip) and Monte Baldo cable car in Malcesine ( we travelled by bus from Nago on bus no. 484 for this). A tip you have to pay each time you board a different bus, unfortunately no day tickets but it’s cheap at €6 for 4 adults single travel to destination. If you’re thinking of travelling to Venice it’s a bus trip and x2 trains, too far for a day trip, we found out by chatting by chance to someone from Florence who was on holiday in Torbole. We all really enjoyed this clean relaxed hotel.

Absolutely great hotel. Very friendly staff who went above and beyond. Food was great and definately fresh
