Lake Garda Resort

All of Lake Garda brilliant ! If you want the train to Venice or Milan or Verona… get the ferry to Desenzano €6 each return. Then use Trainline for train tickets easy peasy and cheap. Don’t get a taxi to the station from Sirmione. €37 one way. We made this mistake.

Excellent hotel. Room very clean and suitable for 4 people. Although breakfast options were a little sparse, it was enough and very friendly staff. Free parking. Lots of free towels. In a lovely location which is within driving distance to Sirmione, Lemone, and the local harbours (unable to walk to shops/restaurants, would need a car/taxi). Felt very safe at this hotel. Would recommend.

Nice small resort - lovely rooms, even though facing the car park. Pool average size but always packed and sun loungers tricky to find sufficient - usual very early morning stuff of people jumping the barriers to put towels on seats etc. Only offered B & B - so no option for any lunches of dinners within the resort. They advertised 'snacks' during the day from the bar - but these were just crisps. Good Breakfast though with lost of choice (hot / cold / fruit etc) apart from lack of understanding coffee machines - only two with a long queue in people selecting the wrong buttons to press - never did work out how to get a black americano. Juices also from machine - tasted a lot of syrup and it sometime mixed with the previous selection. In all though filled you up once you found a table to sit at. Staff very good and very helpful - particularly the housekeepers - they were working every day (as room cleaned daily) in over 34 degrees heat, pushing large laundry trolleys from room to room - as all rooms were only accessed externally and the same numbers up flights of stairs as on the ground floor. Good Air conditioning and as said room was lovely - shower fantastic - super power and load of hot water for a family of four. Nice peaceful site - seems to have a lot of guests staying 2 or 3 nights only - we were there for a week. Shame about the view as only could get a small glimpse of the lake (if bent over balcony) Downside is the location really - just as well we had a car as it was too far to walk into town (Moniga) as also on a hill, so the trek back would be challenging. So a car is a must (free parking and plenty of space for cars) It was a very last decision to stay here - but glad we stayed on the west side of the lake as it was beautiful down on the beaches of the lake, In all - ok for short stay - but you need a car to eat.

⚠️Warning⚠️Health risk⚠️Mould in the hotel⚠️ The room smelled, and the ceiling in the room was covered in mould. ⚠️Stay somewhere else!!!⚠️ We were moved to a room without aircon, and offered to end our stay after one night. They still charged us for one night. Stay away!!!

Not a good hotel. Only serves a (mediocre) breakfast so you need to find meals elsewhere. You absolutely need a car. You can prepare meals in your room as there is a small kitchenette, but the hotel wants €50 per day for plates/cutlery etc. disgusting behaviour. Staff are rude, we sat down for breakfast in a family of 4, the waiter shouted at us and told us to move. When I asked why he just kept saying ‘China’. There were some Chinese guests so presumably they were getting preferential treatment for some reason. He pointed to the outside terrace where we relocated to. Humiliating. Pool was ok and we didn’t fight for any sun beds so there’s that. No kettle in room or any where to sit as the sofa was made up for the children’s beds. As I said earlier you have to pay a daily fee for plates etc. 2 outside chairs with no table on the balcony. Everything you expect in a holiday hotel room this didn’t have, apart from the absolute basics such as a bed and wardrobe. Disappointing and would not recommend.
