Villa Sofia

Location really good, 10 minutes walk to the lake the ferry, restaurants and bars. 10 minutes walk behind the hotel is a small village with a few restaurants and bars and a small shop. One bit of advice would be to wear flat comfortable shoes as the walk is quite steep and on cobbles. The hotel rooms are a little dated and could do with being refreshed. The balcony had lovely views of the lake. The bar in the hotel is very small, not somewhere you could enjoy a drink with family. The breakfast was ok, somewhat repetitive. The toaster is very old fashioned and dangerous. The pool area is clean and tidy and not overcrowded, we went with small children and a customer complained about the noise, don’t think it is child friendly at all. We found the hotel rooms quite noisy, running baths and loud talking sometimes till 1 in the morning.

As a part of our motorcycle journey, we wanted to visit lake Garda, and we chose this hotel randomly. But what a perfect hotel, with the sweetest staff and really nice pool area. Parking is free, the hotel is in walking distance from restaurants and the lake it self.

Just spent a week at the Villa Sofia in Gardone riviera.The hotel was fantastic the bedroom having a great view of Lake Garda which is only a 10 minute stroll down the hill. Breakfast was lovely served outside in the garden,with the freshly made fruit salad a highlight. The best feature however are the staff who are all brilliant .Special mention to Anna who really is a credit to the hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

A very cute hotel, small dimension, nice location, very close from the village and the lake side, large room with a small balcony, pleasant pool, good breakfast, parking inside, nice people at the reception. Reasonable price. I would warmly recommend.
