Hotel Bad Moos - Dolomites Spa Resort

Během lyžování jsme se zastavili na výborné kávě a nějakém dezertu v hotelu Bad Moon spa, je přímo u sjezdovky a nástupu na lanovku, super poloha a krásný výhled na místní panoráma, bezva hotel a služby.

We booked this hotel as a family of two adults and one teenager. Our room was in the residence side and we had booked half board. Check in was extremely welcoming, staff were so friendly, gave us all the information we needed regarding the stay and showed us to our room. The residence side is a bit older but extremely clean, the room is well designed with a room with two single beds and the main room with a double and seating area. The hotel is connected to the main building underground. Which is also where the gym, spa and pool facilities are. In our room was our dressing gowns and slippers that can be worn around the hotel. The pool and spa facilities are very nice. The pool has amazing views of the mountains, the outside pool was heated. For evening meal, you pick what starter and main you want to eat when you check in. It’s nice to have a table assigned and that is your table for the stay for breakfast and dinner. When you arrive there is a buffet for you to get extra starters which was a wide selection of food and also for your dessert. The food was amazing and there is a children’s menu too. Breakfast was a buffet and you can order what eggs you like from the waiters. A good selection of cereals, bread, cheese, yogurts and fruit. After snack is served behind where the bar is. Tea and water is available with a selection of food (soup, pizza, bread and cold meats) All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always had smiles and couldn’t do enough for you.

We stayed at Bad Moos Hotel in February 2026 for our ski holiday and I can honestly say it was an amazing stay. The hotel is modern, clean and beautiful and the staff can't do enough for you. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely amazing, lots of buffet choices and fresh and healthy as well as a 3 course meal! Afternoon snacks were fab too just what we needed after the slopes! And the Spa is fabulous! The outdoor heated pool, saunas, steam and a well equipped gym too meant we had everything for an amazing Spa experience. We stayed in the annexe which was fine for a Ski holiday as you don't spend long in your room, it was cosy and lovely and warm. We loved this amazing hotel and the area so much we are returning in August to experience it in the summer and we can't wait to stay again.

We booked the holiday through crystal ski, one thing I will mention is be careful of the wording on their website. Please note the annex double room with balcony is not in the main building, most of the photos you see on the Crystal website are of the suits, these rooms are in the main building which requires an upgrade. So if you are planning to book through Crystal ski make sure you are in full possession of the facts. We travelled from Gatwick airport and flew into Innsbruck airport which was a short flight. At Innsbruck it was very easy to spot the Crystal ski reps, who told us where to go and get our transfer, which was a small mini bus and the transfer time was about 2.30 hrs. The hotel check in was very easy and didn't take too long. We stayed in the main building in a junior suite with a balcony and the room was just perfect and what we needed, with an amazing view. The hotel is literally beside the Croda Rossa ski lift and from our room we could see the ski slope and lift. I booked my ski pass and ski hire through Crystal ski. The hotel has their ski hire shop in the main building down by the garage (the garage is massive). Ski pass you get from the ski lift about 10 metres from the hotel all very easy. The skiing is good with a good mix of blue and red runs, there is a good practice area right off the croda rossa ski lift. I found skiing better in the morning, when the sun was high, the snow down at the lower slopes would get slushy but still easy to ski on. The dri zinnen ski area is linked via chair lifts and or buses (take advantage of the bus pass they give you when you check in). The spa area is second to none and truly made the holiday that bit more special. I had a sports massage two days into our stay which being in my 50's helped out a lot the good lady had an individual massage. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff at the spa they are very good and put you at ease. The saunas which there are a few of, do require you to wear a towel which is provided (be aware some of our European neighbours don't feel the need to cover up) Also the indoor and outdoor pools are heated and are really nice to relax in plus there are areas in the spa to totally relax in too. When we arrived we were given a table for the rest of our stay at breakfast and dinner. The standard and variety of food at both breakfast and dinner was amazing and plenty of it. At breakfast there is a buffet and you can also cooked eggs. Dinner is buffet starter with dinner menu and dessert plus on the buffet they have more desserts and more food if you're still hungry. All in all we both really enjoyed our stay at bad moos and we will definitely be going back.

Visited as part of a Crystal Ski package. Firstly on the skiing.....Crystal Ski market the area as good for beginners and intermediates. Got to say that we were misled. There is a blue directly outside the hotel but it is a tough blue and definitely not for beginners. The overall Drei Zinnen resort is not particularly well connected and the ski school (which we weren't booked into) required 2 separate bus journeys from the hotel. Overall the skiing was disappointing but it would have been fine for a very experienced skier. The hotel itself was excellent. The staff were very attentive and the rooms were comfortable. The spa is great and never felt busy although it was popular. The most positive element were the meals and catering. Antipasti was an excellent buffet and subsequent courses were table service. Many thanks to Marina and Davide for looking after us (amongst others). There is a cosy bar next to the restaurant. We stayed in the 'Residence' (not part of the main hotel) which we were happy with as we didn't fancy the 'Annexe' over the road which meant you would have to walk outside when going to dinner, the spa etc. Only one gripe for the hotel. No way to make coffee in the room and it wasn't possible to get a coffee until you formally went to breakfast.
