Casa Cook Madonna

Just returned from a lovely trip to this gorgeous resort. We had no problems with the hotel, although I thought breakfast was included and it wasn’t and at -€30pp for someone who doesn’t eat slot seems pricy so we bought yogurt&fruit in the fabulous supermarket nearby!! My only complaint would be the uncomfortable hard bed and scratchy bed linens and the pillows weren’t great either , I would have liked hotel quality linens, which is a shame ! They don’t have any facilities to let you shower/change clothes on the day you check out which is so unusual for a good hotel, they won’t let you use the spa, which is annoying ! I would still return 😀 the position is perfect .

I was very excited to try Casa Cook Madonna di Campiglio after reading so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was already flawed before we even arrived, and it never improved. I booked directly through the hotel’s website about a month in advance. The initial invoice I received was for €1,986.97. After booking, I emailed the hotel three separate times with basic questions regarding reservations and parking. I received no response until after the third email, which was already disappointing. Five days prior to arrival, I was sent a payment link for €2,001.97. That email clearly stated that breakfast was included. I questioned the discrepancy in pricing but never received a clear or valid explanation—neither via email nor from the hotel staff on site, who seemed confused by it as well. Parking was also unnecessarily stressful. There is no one readily available to help park your car or retrieve it, and guidance is minimal. To make matters worse, the neighbors in the building next door are clearly unhappy with hotel guests parking nearby, which adds tension and confusion right from arrival. Upon check-in, the issues continued. No one offered to help with unloading luggage or bags; it took us four trips to get everything inside ourselves. Check-in was chaotic and took over 30 minutes. The building also has one very small elevator shared by guests and housekeeping for all floors, so be prepared to wait or take the stairs. During check-in, we again confirmed that breakfast was included and were told management would verify it and get back to us that evening. The next morning at 8:00 a.m., there was still no answer. I left and returned an hour later only to be told that the hotel would not honor the breakfast inclusion, despite it being clearly outlined in their email to me days earlier. While breakfast itself is not the issue, the lack of accountability and guest-first mentality absolutely is. Honoring their own written confirmation would have been a simple and reasonable solution. Other details further reinforced the poor experience: -Coffee in the room was never replenished (something even budget hotels manage) - No water available in the gym or the room -The sauna is co-ed and not private at all Overall service and attention to guests were severely lacking Despite the excellent location, this property does not deliver a hotel-level experience. At best, this is a 3-star hotel—and honestly feels more like a hostel. Guests are not looked after, communication is disorganized, and service standards are low. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property until there is new management. If you’re looking for a hotel that prioritizes its guests, this is not it.

Me and my wife had dinner at the new restaurant Altitude 1.511 in your hotel, and what an experience it was. We heard from others in town that Jacob Jan Boerma was the name behind this concept, and that was exactly the reason we decided to come curiosity brought us here, and expectations were high. And honestly, the evening exceeded every expectation. The whole dinner was fantastic, the classic carbonara was the absolute highlight for us. We never thought that an international chef, not "particularly" known for Italian cuisine, could deliver such a pure and authentic version. Simple, perfectly balanced truly the best carbonara we’ve ever had. A beautiful place with a unique concept. We’ll definitely be back what a gem for Madonna!
