Hotel Vittoria

Dear Hosts, I would like to thank you very much for a very pleasant stay at your place. We were delighted by the truly cordial atmosphere, the friendly attitude of all the hotel staff. Excellent cuisine, 4-5 course meals of your choice! Wonderful relaxation in a very modern and clean spa, steam bath, Finnish sauna, whirlpool,... Cosy friendly hotel. Close to slopes with great food. Highly recomended best price value. Owners are so kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Room service day by day. Spa area could be little bit bigger with pool but its ok for a 7 days stay

We stayed there 5 nights in February. Nice, clean room, very good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Not far from Folgarida ski lift, also offered free ski bus. Ski equipment storage with ski boots heaters. We really appreciated free steam room and sauna. In small quiet town, we like. Reasonable price.

Some friends and I have just returned from, we think, our eleventh stay with the Carnessalini family at the hotel Vittoria. We've skied extensively in Europe but have never found a better combination of snow-sure, picturesque, varied slopes; food great for its variety, quality and quantity; and clean, comfortable hotel run by the wonderful Carnessalini family. Nothing is too much trouble for Martina, Umberto and Oscar, and the grand old man, Giorgio, who oversees everything in a friendly charming way. The basic rooms are fine but opt for the 'top' rooms. The superskirama pass gives you access to Folgarida, Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio (the jewel in the crown) and Pinzolo. The resort tends to ski well when all around struggle for snow so you have that reassurance that you won't be looking for alternative ways to spend your week in the hills.

We took a trip skiing with Explorer Scouts this February half term to Folgarida and stayed at the Hotel Vittoria. Although the hotel was not the fist choice, it seems it was a good job as it was definitely the best hotel suitable for groups I've been to in a long time. Although the hotel is a little out of town, there is a bridge across the river leading to the roundabout at the bottom of the town. To get to the bridge you have to cross the train track, which is done by an underpass just the the end of the platform. There is a handy supermarket if required. The hotel reception is on the first floor, although it's labelled as the ground. There is a large boot room on -2 with the main door on -1 along with a kids soft room and the Spa. The rooms are big enough, all the en-suite bathrooms have WC, showers, some with baths. Most have bidets, but this can cause issues with the smaller rooms. The restaurant was well laid out and the food was very good, make sure you take advantage of the salad bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is set behind the reception, not big enough for all the residents, but there is a spacious lounge opposite.
