Hotel Wiesenhof

Everything was perfect! From the Check In to the check out! Extremely friendly staff in all departments! The food is of great quality and variety. Everything is very clean in the hotel. The Spa area is very big, lots of different saunas, relax area, pools. Perfect spot to go hiking or cycling!

Staying for one night, the checkin was bumpy from a process perspective. Person was rather rude and uninviting and unhelpful. Eating dinner and chewing while talking while checking us in, gesturing vaguely as to where we can get luggage carts, mumbling about the included dinner options, the room number was almost illegible (so we couldn’t find the room). No assistance in us finding a spot in the (including and pre-reserved) parking area or the broken elevator. When addressed politely we were given a rumble of rude response I would not expect from anyone. The Wiesenhof room is nice enough, though price asked for it is high (even in pre-season). The view is good (east) and bathrooms are good enough. For a night is ok - would pick a different local venue for longer. Rooms:Nice enough, the split mattress is meh, and room is long and narrow. View to east is pretty, has a tiny balcony. Clean and decent.

We stayed there for 3 nights, we booked a smaller room, but we’ve had an upgrade and the room was a suite instead. Great view, great service, great food. The hotel is really per friendly, and our dogs could come in the dining room with us, if we wanted. They have a special formula which includes breakfast, snacks in the afternoon, and gourmet dinner. We loved everything.

Very relaxing, excellent restaurant for the guests in the evening . We stayed in one of the suite,spacious comfortable and well served. From the owner to the last employee we received care and attention. The chef is an artist and you should never missed the desert.

when booking 2 units for 6 days,we missed the fact,that this was a Hotel allowing dogs as well as offering a nudist area,Most dogs were well behaved,but there were 2 dogs running around free and messing all over the grass/poolarea..Unfortunatley on check-in we were rushed and were left to find our way to the room and facilities. We were not informed about any facilities and services offered. Since we stayed for 6 nights we figured it all out ourself. I am surprised that a hotel that is pet friendly has carpets in the corridors and rooms, this is rather ungyhenic. The rooms booked also did not have aircon which is not acceptable for a 4* hotel. The aircone in the dining room (extremly hot) was not working the first 2 days,this was then taken care off. The food offered was a wide variety but it seemed that at times, it was student chefs in the kitchen that really tried to present a 5 star meal but didn't always succeed. Some soups tasted rather watery but the other meals were good. The seafood buffet was amazing, the variety offered was very impressive. Some more staff could resolve in better service.
