Grand Hotel La Panoramica

We booked this hotel for a family trip, and after reading some of the reviews beforehand, I was a little worried. However, our experience was very positive and quite different from what I had read. On arrival, the receptionist was friendly and spoke English to a reasonable level. The views from the breakfast hall were absolutely magnificent. The pool isn’t very big (it holds around 20 people max), but it’s perfect for relaxing, and the afternoon sun makes it a lovely spot to unwind. The rooms were very clean and well looked after. The housekeeping team worked hard every day to keep everything tidy, and it was always nice to return to a fresh room with a warm smile from the staff. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need, with both English and continental options, plus a full selection of tea and coffee. The location is good. While having a car would make things easier, it’s not essential – there’s a bus stop nearby, and it’s only a 15–20 minute walk to the seafront and port. If I had to mention one downside, it’s that the hotel is on a main road, so it can be a little noisy at night. That said, once you lower the blinds and switch on the air conditioning, the noise isn’t really noticeable. Overall, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and we felt we got great value for money. We would happily stay here again

No aircon No water And no help to get it fixed during the night And do not ask the reception for booking a taxi - you get over charged. Use a taxa app.

Do NOT stay here. The only good thing is the view. The staff is rude! They threatened us saying they would call the police because the alarm was going off all night every hour. They did nothing to check and when we complained they said they will call the police. They claimed someone smoked in a room. They are rude and make fun of people and mock them. Truly avoid. Our room had NO window and no fridge until we insisted on a fridge. Our bathroom flooded due to the shower being weird and no seal around the glass. The food was mid. Truly go down the road a few miles and pick another place.
