A gem on the coast! Perfect views of Vesuvius from the pool, and is heaven when the coast is lit up at night, food is outstanding and customers service is excellent. Room is very very clean, which after a long day out, is very comforting. Hugely welcoming atmosphere and guests are friendly, not too busy either.

I'll start off with the positives..amazing view from the balcony/(pool) or room if you're lucky and the it was very clean and the housekeeping was very good. Now the negatives..unless you're willing to pay alot for taxis, you best get your walking boots on because it Is about 35 mins to the train station and the hotel is on a big hill to top it off. The hotel is a ghost town and for good reason unfortunately. From mine and my partners experience, we never got to use the pool or the bar as they were never open even during extreme heat/ peak hours. The bar was always unmanned and the pool had ridiculous opening and closing times (10am-6pm) It feels as though they don't want you to use it! Our AC unit was randomly turned off by a cleaner and we had no way to get it back on so best love a sweaty bed if you're coming here. The water pressure of the shower is terrible and best believe it's uneven temperature will randomly scold your sun burn. The hotel was quite loud too. This didn't particularly bother us but the road was very loud from bikes and the port was very loud at all times from the boat construction and random alarms. The breakfast was okay, you had a choice of 2 types of melon, what seemed to be canned hotdog sausages, spoiled tasting yoghurt/milk and anemic bacon, although my partner did like the yoghurt. The syrup choice for the yoghurt, the croissants and the coffee were all of good standard particularly. On our last day we were approached by the receptionist about not being allowed to swim in the pool after we had checked out. I am not complaining about this rule as it is fair but we were unaware of it until that moment. The receptionist however was aggressive, rude and seemed to be taking out his stress on us in that moment. I initially apologised and tried to understand his ranting and gestures but felt unbelievably disrespected by the end of the ordeal as he made us feel like we had commited the worst crime imaginable, just to top it off he ran back out after the first instance to tell me to not sit on the outside lounger when I was wet when i was just trying to put on my shoes and leave. (The loungers were by the pool and designed for this). May I remind you we were the only people in the hotel at the time! I went to the concierge about half an hour later and shown him the message attached in the review as I was very upset. He read it and disregarded me completely and again ranted to me in Italian like I understood anything he said. If the hotel has any sense you will take these recent reviews seriously. We were so respectful the entire time but made to feel uncomfortable for simply using the hotels facilities. We stayed from the 2nd of July to the 7th and the instance with the terrible staff members who worked on the concierge happened at roughly 12:37pm on the 7th just incase the hotel management want to make sure this doesn't happen again with this staff member. I don't like to be so harsh on reviewing somewhere but this hotel will not take £900 off me and then treat me terribly as soon as I check out. Especially being a 4 star hotel in a reputable area. There are far better hotels in the area that deserve your money more.

We booked this hotel for a family trip, and after reading some of the reviews beforehand, I was a little worried. However, our experience was very positive and quite different from what I had read. On arrival, the receptionist was friendly and spoke English to a reasonable level. The views from the breakfast hall were absolutely magnificent. The pool isn’t very big (it holds around 20 people max), but it’s perfect for relaxing, and the afternoon sun makes it a lovely spot to unwind. The rooms were very clean and well looked after. The housekeeping team worked hard every day to keep everything tidy, and it was always nice to return to a fresh room with a warm smile from the staff. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need, with both English and continental options, plus a full selection of tea and coffee. The location is good. While having a car would make things easier, it’s not essential – there’s a bus stop nearby, and it’s only a 15–20 minute walk to the seafront and port. If I had to mention one downside, it’s that the hotel is on a main road, so it can be a little noisy at night. That said, once you lower the blinds and switch on the air conditioning, the noise isn’t really noticeable. Overall, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and we felt we got great value for money. We would happily stay here again
