Majestic Palace

This is my second time staying here. The staff is wonderful and friendly, they have 2 bars (lobby and rooftop) and food options. Walking distance to downtown Sorrento if you don’t mind walking a bit. Close to the train station, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Be advised when traveling in April, the AC units aren’t operational in the hotel. Crack the balcony and enjoy the fresh air. Garden view rooms offer a beautiful sunset view and views of the sea on higher floors. I will stay here again when I come to the area again.

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent views and very friendly staff. Loved our balcony with a view of the garden (which is a must visit) and partial sea view. I've read other negative reviews and none of them reflect our experience. We were only in town for 2 nights, and very much wish we could have spent more at the Majestic. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. We would happily stay here again should our travels bring us back to the area.

We are still here, what a lovely hotel, the staff are excellent, helpful and nothing is a trouble. Food is good and the service superb. The location is good for us as a short train ride 1.5 euro (5 min) and you are in Sorrento. I personally believe April is a good time to travel her as not too hot or busy.

From check-in to departure, the staff was unfailingly polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. The hotel is nicely situated in a quiet area and is close to train/bus station. Beautiful property!

I was nervous to come to this hotel because there were mixed reviews. We ended up reserving a comfort room, which was clearly just renovated and it felt clean. The room was spacious and we had a nice balcony. There was a fresh paint smell though but that went away after a bit. What I didn’t know was that some places in Italy have AC restrictions, so the rooms were quite hot as the hotel staff said we cannot turn on the AC until mid May. We did have our shutters open all night but it can be quite loud outside with the cars, mopeds, and the local church’s bell tower. We did love the rooftop bar which is a great place for a sunset drink. The visited the pool and it was a nice place to layout. The pool is not heated though, and I would guess that the temp is around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, and a mix of pastries.
