Views are stunning and would definitely recommend getting sea view. Location 30 mins from sorrento, can use hotel bus or local bus. But book in advance if using hotel one. Taxis would cost £50 very expensive - Nothing else around local unless you want to walk up a hill. Beach is pebbles. Hotel itself needs updating looking tired. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly, unfortunately receptionist wasn’t the same if you questioned something didn’t like it, even though hotel wasn’t fully booked still wouldn’t allow late check out, maybe as we complained about something?? Drinks & food are quite expensive but same at other hotels. If just wanting base then good but anything else would recommend elsewhere.

Overall a lovely hotel in a great location. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view and it was well worth it. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The view was amazing, facing west we got a lovely sunset view with the lights of Sorrento off to the left. Food We did B&B. The breakfasts were splendid with loads of choice of cooked and continental, with fruit, cold meats and cheese, fresh orange juice, pastries and cereals. We ate each night in the hotel restaurant as there aren’t many restaurants near the hotel.. we ate at the closest for lunch one day but, in early May, they weren’t open in the evening. The a la carte menu was good. We didn’t have anything that we didn’t like. Good choice of dishes with plenty of fresh produce and the waiting staff couldn’t have been nicer. 2 courses for both of us averaged €60/70. Pool/beach The pool opens on 1st April. Open each day from 9-6.30. Towels are supplied. The sun beds are very comfy and the views are spectacular. Steps lead down from the pool terrace to the small private beach. Again, sun beds and parasols are available. Visiting Sorrento The hotel provides a shuttle bus which runs at 9.00, 10.45, 15.00 and 17.00. You have to book it the day before with reception but it is free. It drops you near the centre of Sorrento which is well worth a visit. It can be booked to bring you back late (22.40) but I think you have to have a minimum of 10 people for this. Apparently the number 8 bus runs every 20 minutes during the day, with the bus stop being about 100m from the hotel. It takes you into Sorrento. Visits We booked a whole day Amalfi coast tour through the hotel reception. Max 8 people we were picked up from our hotel. We also booked (in the uk before we left) a Pompeii and Herculaneum tour through TUI. Despite TUI saying they would pick us up from the hotel, this is NOT the case and we had to walk 1.1 miles up a steep hill to the pick up point. For us this was just a bit of a nuisance but for some it would be a deal breaker so I would definitely book through the hotel. Cost is about the same. Airport With the new EU entry system, longer queues are to be expected, especially on the way home. When you get to Naples airport keep an eye on the departure boards, as soon as they tell you which area - A B or C (not which gate x that comes later) go there immediately. Don’t wait for the gate to be shown. We made the mistake of waiting for the gate to be announced and it was a little stressful although we did actually get through in plenty of time.

We stayed at this hotel for one week. It is located approximately a 20-minute drive from Sorrento, so it is quite removed from the main town and surrounding amenities. The hotel does provide a shuttle service several times a day, which is helpful in mitigating this. The pool area is lovely with very comfortable sunbeds, and guests also have access to a beach area with additional loungers. Drinks from the pool bar are very expensive so be aware of this. The rooms are spacious, but the bathroom features a shower over the bath at an unusual angle. The views from the rooms are exceptional, with beautiful sunsets, and nothing beats the sound of the ocean every day from your room. The rooms are spacious and clean and towels are changed every day. Lighting in the rooms is limited, so I would recommend the ladies to bring one of those light up portable mirrors for make up etc. One concern was that our balcony door did not have a functioning lock and could be opened easily from both inside and outside. Although there are dividers between balconies, this did raise security concerns. We reported the issue every day, but maintenance only attended on the day before we left, he took one look at it, muttered something in Italian then left. The restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. However, there is a noticeable distinction in seating arrangements: half-board guests are seated in a more confined area, while those paying for meals are allocated the larger, more open section of the restaurant. Breakfast was ok, there is a buffet with bacon and sausages but it’s rarely hot. We took advantage of the made-to-order omelettes being the best option as they were freshly prepared and served hot. The evening meals included in the half-board package were very disappointing. While starters were generally good, the main courses were consistently poor, featuring overcooked vegetables which turned to mush and reheated items of low quality, roast potatoes were served with every dish and they tasted rubbery and over cooked. The fish dish was particularly unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated issue, as the standard of main courses declined further over the course of the week. I found this really unacceptable, guests are choosing this hotel but getting treated with separate eating areas and awful food. I left my mains every night we were there. By the 4th night I started ordering 2 starters, skipped the main meal and just having a dessert. The dessert is chosen for you and is always cake. Overall, while the hotel has some positive aspects, particularly its views and setting, the standard of food and certain maintenance issues significantly impacted our experience. Based on this, we would not choose to return.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet area on the beach . Nothing much around so you need to travel into Sorrento. Hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean . My only complaint was that the Restaurant was extremely disappointing. Evening meal was from a set menu with no Vegetarian option or anything healthy, No salad all week except tomato. Not even a pizza option was offered. Only one option for desert which was cake , My husband is vegetarian and I have a medical problem so I’m on a special diet , i did ask one night for ice cream but they said no ! I booked this hotel as it was advertised as an evening buffet . We ate out during the day or we both would have gone hungry in the evening . This hotel really needs to have a salad bar and a selection of deserts as this is what we expect in 2026.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It's situated in Meta, just outside Sorrento. Meta has a train station and there is also a regular free shuttle bus from the hotel to Sorrento. The hotel is directly on the beach, and has its own private section of the beach, as well as a lovely swimming pool. The hotel decor is charming, and a pleasant change from bland corporate hotel decor. Our room was lovely, clean, and had the most incredible view over the bay. What makes this hotel so special though is the service. Everyone including the reception staff, housekeeping team, and lifeguards were friendly, professional and helpful. The restaurant team, led by the amazing Pino, and the bar staff were outstanding, and the food is great. We were sad not to stay longer and are already planning a return.
