    Velmi dobrý

Great location for seafront, bars and restaurants. Friendly staff at reception and always greeted with a smile. Bar only open in the evening so had to go elsewhere for drinks if wanted. Our room was nice. Very basic, no drawers for clothes and not much space in the wardrobe. There were no glasses for water in the bathroom/bedroom Bathroom and shower were great. Clean towels as and when needed, occasionally toilet rolls were not topped up. If you want a kettle you need to request it and again cups not always supplied. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the road. We had a small balcony which we spent time on watching the very busy road - very entertaining actually! Others in our group didn’t have a balcony so we appreciated the fact we did. The road is VERY noisey with the balcony doors open but the glazing really shuts that noise out when closed but earplugs might be a good idea if you are a light sleeper. Restaurant has beautiful views of the sea and Mount Vesuvius. Breakfast choice was good BUT the cooked breakfast was always cold…(not even tepid). No matter if it had just been replenished, it was still cold every day🙁 Restaurant for dinner was fab. The best fillet steak I’ve ever had, absolutely delicious. No sides with it, just some peppers and sauce but it didn’t need anything else! Drinks quite reasonable too. Overall we had a lovely stay as part of a tour of the area. Hotel Stabia is a great base and I’d definitely recommend it. Thank you to all the staff for making it a happy stay.

Hotel Stabia – a stay we won’t be repeating! Myself and husband were on 5th floor, my pa was on 2nd floor (for context) Our stay at Hotel Stabia was disappointing, especially considering the price. There were a few positives, but unfortunately the negatives far outweighed them. By the end, we felt like we’d paid hotel prices for an experience that occasionally felt more like a very expensive endurance test 🤣 🛏️ The room Our inward-facing room had a dismal, dark view that certainly wasn't shown in the pictures. I think “room with a view” may have been interpreted rather creatively! But it was an inward view and it is what it is! The bed was rock solid. If you like a mattress so firm that you can’t roll over without filing a change-of-position request, you’ll be absolutely delighted. Unfortunately, we weren’t (but i dont wish to sound to moany about a preference in bed, your welcome to try yourself!) The rooms are also not soundproof at all. During our stay there was an event (wedding) that went on until around 1.30am, and from the fifth floor it sounded like we had accidentally booked a room inside a nightclub. The music was absolutely pumping. Now being one couple in our thirties we know how to party but also we wanted to sleep and relax on holiday and the poor elder folk staying there also were rather upset. (My da heard it from the 2nd floor also) Apparently earplugs weren't included in the room rate 🤣🤣 When we raised the issue, we were essentially told, “Ah well, there’s no more while you’re here.” Well… that's reassuring when you're trying to sleep! We were offered to mo e if we packed our things up in the next 5 minutes but there and then if not they wouldnt move...sounded threatening 🤣 🏊 Facilities The hotel is looking very tired in slot of places, with ripped and mismatched carpets throughout. You can tell this must have been a beautiful and grand hotel back in its day, but these days it feels like it could do with a fairly substantial facelift. The downstairs bar is actually very pretty — when it opens. Unfortunately, that isn't until 6pm, which seems incredibly late for a hotel bar. You're also not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into your room, despite the limited bar options. So if you're hungry or fancy a drink earlier in the day, apparently the answer is simply… don't. Then there's the pool. At £10 per person, per visit, you might expect something rather special. Instead, we found a pool that was small, cold and looked green. At that point, paying £10 felt less like paying for a swim and more like making a charitable donation. 🍳 Breakfast Breakfast was average at best, with the added bonus that the hot food was cold. Nothing quite says “good morning” like wondering whether your bacon has actually been cooked recently or is simply having a lie down and im not being a brit wanting an english breakfast there are limited continental options. The pastries are plentiful 💳 Checkout We also had the pleasure of discovering that we'd been charged for drinks we hadn't actually had when we checked out. Thankfully we noticed and queried it, but it's not really the sort of surprise you want at the end of an already expensive stay. 🧹 The good bits To be fair, the cleaning staff were absolutely magnificent. The rooms were kept very clean and we genuinely cannot fault them. They were, without doubt, the highlight of our stay. The downstairs bar is also lovely once it eventually opens. The staff were polite enough and greeted us on arrival, although unfortunately the response to the noise issue left a lot to be desired. 💷 Overall Considering what we paid, we felt the hotel was poor value for money. The noise, uncomfortable bed, cold breakfast, £10 pool charge, restricted food and drink options, tired carpets and unexpected drinks charge all added up. It could have been a beautiful, grand hotel, and perhaps it once was....in the 80s. Sadly, it now feels like it's living off its former glory and could really do with some investment. If you're choosing between this area and Sorrento, we'd suggest considering Sorrento instead. It has much more of a holiday feel, and we found the people there appeared friendlier. Would we go back? Absolutely not.And just to be clear, I'm not a moany Brit looking for something to complain about. 😂 We came away on holiday wanting to enjoy ourselves, and we genuinely wanted to like this hotel and also genuinley wanted to leave the day after we booked in. This review is simply honest feedback based on our experience, because when you're paying a lot of money for somewhere to stay, I think it's fair to say what was good and what wasn't The cleaners deserve five stars. The rest of the stay deserves a lie down on a slightly softer mattress. 😅

Girls trip to the area: hotel's proximity to the beach was great! The rooms were clean and did the job. Housekeeping was very good. But there are SO many different layouts, some with balconies some with showers (some showers too small to actually use without getting the bathroom very wet), some with two beds...some with three...some with one. It seemed the room assignments were totally random. The lifts are unpredicable...taking the stairs was much more efficient. The breakfast was good...same thing every morning though. No variation from that. The pool closes very early...when it's not rented out. The worst thing; NOISE!!!!!! The hotel is on a very busy street and traffic is continous...day and night. And that strip of street seems to be where motorcyles...(big ones...not scooters) want to show off...all night...ALL NIGHT! So leaving ones window open to hear the surf isn't something one should plan on. There are a few nice restaurants in the area, all withing walking distance.
