Hotel San Remo

Great location only 5 min walk from Termini railway station, ideal when you arrive by train from the airport. Lot of restaurants, bars, shops nearby as well as all the top sightseeing places in Rome. Despite the location of the hotel close to the city center the atmosphere is realy quiet during the night, so we could sleep very well, undisturbed. The room was very clean, newly reconstructed, housekeeping was done every day, the beds as well as the pillows were very comfortable. Staff at the reception, during the breakfast, and also the cleaning ladies were all very friendly and helpful. The only negative feedback we have is regarding our communication as prior to our arrival, we did not receive any response to our e-mails written to the hotel, neither did anybody answer our phone calls, but during our stay everybody was very communicative and helpful.

Great location if you want to stay close o Termini Station. Hotel is being renovated and we stayed in a very comfortable and large. The breakfast is great! They have a large variety and the food is fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Diogo at the front desk.

Would recommend this hotel. Very close to Termini Train Station for connection to Airport & within walking distance of a lot of attractions. We had a Junior Suite & it was very nice & clean. Breakfast was a bit repetitive but was handy to have before setting off for the day. Refreshing glass of Prescesso ! Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at San Remo.

We stayed here for a night before our cruise. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was very good. We picked this hotel based on its close proximity to the train station so we could walk there. We never felt unsafe at the hotel. However, right around the train station was not so good, and we did see one man doing drugs down the street from hotel. Hotel is close to shops and cute outdoor cafes and we were able to walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi, Pantheon, Colosseum, Roman Forum. Our room was big - 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. It had been updated, but the air conditioning wasn't super cool, but comfortable.

I was disappointed with my stay this time. The room was very small for two people, and despite asking several times to be moved, we were repeatedly told that no other rooms were available. The staff were also much less helpful than on previous visits, which was very disappointing. Another issue was the air conditioning. In the room, the temperature seemed to be locked at a certain level unless you specifically asked about it. Additionally, there was no air conditioning in the breakfast room, which made it very uncomfortable given the hot weather. The location remains one of the hotel's biggest strengths and is a major reason why we continue to return. However, overall, there are several areas that need improvement, particularly when it comes to looking after returning customers. This stay did not meet the standards we had experienced before, and I was left feeling quite let down.
